Kourtney Kardashian is kicking off the new year with a grateful heart. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star took to Instagram New Year's day to express her gratitude for her three kids. Kourtney and ex Scott Disick co-parent their three kids together. Following the holidays, fans speculated that Kourtney may be pregnant again after she posted a recent bikini photo.
It is no doubt that Kourtney Kardashian is a good mom. She was the first of her siblings to give momager Kris Jenner a grandchild. Kourtney and then boyfriend Scott Disick became first time parents in 2009 when their oldest son Mason was born. The two went on to have two more kids together, Penelope and Reign. Despite having their differences over the years, Kourtney and Scott have managed to co-parent their kids while also seeing other people. Kourtney is known to put her kids before everything else, even work. During season 18 of KUWTK, Kourtney took some time away from filming the show to focus on herself and her kids. She later returned to film before receiving backlash for claiming she would miss the show after it comes to an end.
Kourtney Kardashian woke up in the new year feeling extra grateful. Kourtney shared a photo of herself and two of her three kids in bed on Instagram early New Year's Day. A makeup less Kourtney smiled alongside Reign and Penelope as they lounged in bed in Christmas pajamas. Kourtney wrote that waking up next to her two "cuties" had her feeling "extra grateful." Despite it being a difficult year for many, Kourtney found the bright side of the dark year as being able to spend extra time with her kids. This past year reminded Kourtney of all of the things that matter the most in life. Thanks to the pandemic, Kourtney was able to slow down and spend "special time" with her kids. She concluded the post by wishing her fans a happy new year filled with health and happiness.
While Kourtney and Reign smiled big for the photo, Penelope showed some sass as she looked unamused by her moms photo taking. One fan described Penelope's expression as a "mood." The mom of three looked cozy in her red Christmas pajamas while Reign wore green tie dye pjs and Penelope seemed to be wearing an oversize t-shirt. Kourtney's TikTok famous bff Addison Rae left a comment on the post with a black heart emoji. One fan questioned Kourtney's eldest son Mason's absence in the family photo. Others complimented Kourtney on her natural beauty while wishing her and her family a happy new year in return.
There's no better way to kick off a new year than being cozy with loved ones. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians mom of three ended a not so normal year by being alongside her biggest blessings. While it is unknown where Mason was at the time of the photo, it could be assumed that he was spending the day with his dad Scott Disick. Or maybe he is simply just "too cool" for morning cuddles with his mom.
