The latest fighters for the upcoming Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl have been confirmed, revealing Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Korra from The Legend of Korra. The two characters were expected to be revealed for the Super Smash Bros-like fighter after fans spotted what looked to be the silhouette of Aang in official Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl art, with the reveal now official.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is already winning fans ahead of its release thanks to its impressive roster of famous Nickelodeon stars. Players will be able to fight across a range of stages themed after Nickelodeon's most popular shows, battling as characters from the likes of Rugrats, SpongeBob Squarepants, Hey Arnold!, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and more. Each character comes with their own unique abilities and strengths, with players needing to use both strategy and skill to master what each fighter has to offer. The game's publisher GameMill has been slowly revealing more additions to the roster of characters since Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was announced earlier this summer.

The new fighter announcements were revealed today, October 1, by the official Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl account on Twitter. The character models for the upcoming fighter game were also shared, showing off updated looks for both the beloved characters. Despite changing up the duo's typical style to match the game's other 3D models, both Avatar's Aang and The Legend of Korra's Korra look instantly recognizable in their iconic attire. The pair will be available when the game launches later this month.

The latest two characters to join the game bring the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl roster count to 20, which is believed to be the full launch roster. An additional two further Nickelodeon characters are set to be revealed as part of post-launch DLC plans in a similar vein to Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighter packs. The two DLC characters haven't yet been named, but leaks suggest one of them will be Avatar: The Last Airbender's Toph.

Nickelodeon has no shortage of adored characters who'd make a great fit for future Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl DLC packs. Even more fighters are expected to be coming in the future, though the price of DLC fighter packs hasn't yet been confirmed. More details are expected to be revealed as Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl's October 5 release date inches closer.
