Knives Out impressed critics for multiple reasons upon its arrival in theaters. The mystery, which has the Thrombery family teaming up with a detective to uncover the circumstances surrounding the death of novelist Harlan, was praised for its compelling suspense, a smart plot, and entertaining twists. However, it was also applauded for its strong ensemble cast.

While every actor in Knives Out had a moment to shine within the film, each is known for many others. Are you ready to uncover a few films that know how to go strong? Here are ten other movies starring the cast members of Knives Out.

Daniel Craig: Spectre (2015)

Daniel Craig stars in Knives Out as the famous private-detective Benoit Blanc. Though the actor has a decades-long resume, we thought it was only fitting to recommend another film in which his character tries to tear down criminals: Spectre.

This installment in the James Bond series is the fourth to feature Craig in the titular role. It has Bond attempting to uncover the secrets of an evil organization. However, to complete his mission, he must find the daughter of a former enemy and confront his connections to the truth.

Christopher Plummer: All The Money In The World (2017)

If one person has an even longer list of filmography than Craig, it's Christopher Plummer. Therefore, it seemed right to show off another one of his famous crime films.

While Plummer plays the murder victim and head of the Thrombey family in Knives Out, he plays oil tycoon J. Paul Getty in All the Money in the World. The film sees J. Paul's 16-year-old grandson, John Paul Getty III, getting captured in the '70s. Though the sinister mafia group offers J. Paul opportunities to retrieve John Paul Getty III, he continually refuses to cooperate.

Jamie Lee Curtis: Freaky Friday (2003)

Jamie Lee Curtis clutches her face as Lindsay Lohan looks on in Freaky Friday.

Knives Out isn’t the only film in which Jamie Lee Curtis plays a character who deals with family troubles. The actress also faced tension by playing a therapist and mother, Tess, in the Disney fan favorite Freaky Friday.

The fantasy-comedy sees Tess and her teen musician daughter struggling to get along. However, they are forced to see life through each other's eyes after the two accidentally swap bodies.

Toni Colette: Little Miss Sunshine (2006)

Like Curtis, the Thrombey family isn't the only one Collette is a part of. In Little Miss Sunshine, she plays the overworked mother of the Hoover gang, Sheryl.

This road comedy-drama has Sheryl and her family packing into a VW and heading to California. Their goal: to see their daughter win the Little Miss Sunshine Contest. However, disfunction among the group causes the trip to be a difficult one.

Chris Evans: Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

Though Chris Evans plays the murder victim's cocky grandson in Knives Out, he is best known for taking on the role of Captain America. What better way to get a little more Evan than by watching his first Marvel film?

Set during the 1940s, Captain America: The First Avenger has Brooklyn man Steve Rogers transforming himself into the titular super-soldier in order to put an end to the schemes of Red Skull.

Ana de Armas: Blader Runner 2049 (2012)

Ana de Armas supports Knives Out as the murder victim's nurse and friend, Marta Cabrera. A couple of years earlier, she was playing a holographic AI in the neo-noir sci-fi sequel to 1982's Blade Runner.

Blade Runner 2049 follows L.A. Police Department officer K on a mission to find a former blade runner, Rick Deckard, who's been missing for decades. Armas' character is Officer K's girlfriend.

Riki Lindhome: Under The Silver Lake (2018)

Though Riki Lindhome gets wrapped up in a huge mystery by playing Donna Thrombey in Knives Out, you can watch her get caught up in a different conspiracy in Under the Silver Lake.

This black comedy thriller has a young L.A. man attempting to uncover the details behind his neighbor's disappearance. However, a few secrets soon turn into a grave conspiracy. Lindhome plays an actress who might be a part of the puzzle.

Michael Shannon: Nocturnal Animals (2016)

Michael Shannon plays Harlan's youngest son, Walt, in Knives Out. If you want to see him get involved in a more psychologically thrilling mystery, however, you can do so by turning to Nocturnal Animals.

Based on the novel Tony and Susan by Austin Wright, this 2016 neo-noir film follows an art gallery owner who discovers the parallels between the novel her former husband wrote and their early relationship. Shannon plays a detective that appears in the novel.

Lakeith Stanfield: The Photograph (2020)

Lakeith Stanfield supports Knives Out by playing an assistant detective. He takes a more prominent (and romantic) role in the 2020 rom-dram The Photograph.

This film zooms in on the relationship between a photographer and journalist as he uncovers the details behind her mother's unexpected death. Stanfield plays journalist Michael.

Don Johnson: Book Club (2018)

While Knives Out features a long cast list, we're stopping it here with a look at another film to feature Don Johnson, the son-in-law of the murder victim and husband to Jamie Lee Curtis' character.

Books Club tells of a group of women who have been friends for a long time. Wishing to spice up life, they decide to read an adult book together that has them reconsidering their romantic pursuits. Johnson plays one of these women's love interests.
