Kathryn Hahn is the latest addition to the Knives Out 2 cast. The highly-anticipated followup to Rian Johnson's acclaimed murder-mystery is starting to come into fruition, following Netflix's massive deal to secure the Knives Out sequels rights. With Daniel Craig reprising his role as Benoit Blanc, production on Knives Out 2 is set to begin this summer in Greece, and plot details are unknown besides the fact Blanc will be investigating another colorful collection of suspects.

One of the most notable aspects of the original Knives Out was its star-studded cast, and so far the sequel is shaping up to have arguably an even bigger ensemble. Throughout the week, a number of actors have signed on in unknown roles, including Janelle Monáe, Edward Norton, and Dave Bautista. Now, another MCU alum is joining Knives Out 2.

According to Deadline, Hahn will star in Knives Out 2. As was the case with the other new additions to the sequel's cast, details about her character are currently being kept under wraps.

Hahn, of course, recently appeared in Marvel Studios' WandaVision as Agatha Harkness, a character wrapped in mystery who kept audiences on their toes by hiding her true intentions until the end. This isn't to say Hahn is playing the Knives Out 2 villain, but she should be an excellent fit in the whodunnit. Over the course of her career, she's demonstrated a wide range, appearing in everything from serious dramas to raunchy comedies. Whatever her Knives Out 2 role calls for, she should be able to deliver a captivating performance, and it'll be fun to see her go toe-to-toe with the others in the ensemble. There were some memorable character interactions in the original Knives Out, and the way the sequel is shaping up, it shouldn't be any different.

Netflix paid a whopping $450 million to snag the Knives Out sequels, making these projects a major investment for the streamer. The original movie was a big commercial and critical hit (earning an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay), so many are curious to see if Knives Out 2 can live up to the heights of its predecessor. It's certainly encouraging that so many top names in the industry are signing on for the film. A great cast doesn't always equate to a great movie, but it definitely helps. Johnson is known for being one of the more creative directors working today, with the calling card of subverting expectations. With the inventive spins he puts on established Hollywood genres, it's no surprise he isn't having any trouble attracting A-list talent for Knives Out 2.
