Rare Stones are a useful crafting material in Kirby and the Forgotten Land and collecting them will make it possible for Kirby to upgrade his Copy Abilities. As Kirby is exploring a brand new world in the Forgotten Lands, he will need to save the Waddle Dee that is being captured. These act as the main and optional objectives within each stage since Waddle Dee can be hidden around any corner. While collecting Waddle Dee is the focus, players may come across Rare Stones while exploring the Forgotten Lands. It's an extra form of currency that has two different uses throughout the game.

The first use of Rare Stones is to use them to create better Copy Abilities. Throughout the stages, players may discover hidden blueprints that can be used to make a current Copy Ability stronger. Combining the Rare Stones with this Blueprint will increase the Copy Abilities range, damage output, and alter Kirby's design. Secondly, Rare Stones can be used to purchase Figures for the collection. Players can trade one Rare Stone by speaking with Trader Waddle Dee in the Gotcha Machine Alley.

To get more Rare Stones in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, players will need to clear every Treasure Road challenge that comes across. When exploring the overworld, rifts will open up above a handful of smaller stages. These are the Treasure Road levels and will test the player with solving puzzles quickly while using a certain copy ability. The game does have a timer that doesn't need to be followed in order to unlock the Rare Stones. Rather, completing the level before the timer runs out will reward players with extra Star Coins.

Where to Find Every Treasure Road in Kirby and the Forgotten Land Winter Horns

While Treasure Road is the most consistent way to get Rare Stones in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, these are a few other methods.

  • Winning Colosseum Matches: After unlocking the boss rush mode in Waddle Dee Town, players can compete to earn Rare Stones. These can be replayed to grind for more Rare Stones.
  • Isolated Isles: In the Forgo Dreams stage, there are hidden Rare Stones throughout the level to grab.
  • Waddle Dee Weapon Shop: This is also located in Waddle Dee Town and the Rare Stone can be found on the roof of the building.

With over 24 copy abilities in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, players will need to grind for as much Rare Stone as possible. Fortunately, the colosseum in town allows for replays, making it super easy to do with a friend. Just clear out the enemies as quickly as possible and repeat the process to earn more Rare Stones. Regardless, players will still need to find the proper blueprints to use Rare Stones to properly upgrade weapons. Some of them are found by naturally progressing through the story while a handful is a bit more challenging to find.
