After this franchise's flying start with Kingsman: The Secret Service and its direct sequel titled Kingsman: The Golden Circle, there is now a prequel film in the works along with a number of other potential projects. While many have praised this film series for its thrilling plots laced with humor and style, one of the defining aspects of this franchise is its array of colorful characters, each of whom possesses a potent mix of danger, mystery, and hilarity.

From his training under the watchful eye of Harry Hart to his stateside journey to assist Kingsman's American counterpart Statesman, Eggsy has come into contact with some of the most dastardly villains around, as well as some of the finest allies on offer. Let's take a look at the MBTI®s of the characters who played a pivotal part in establishing Kingsman's overwhelming success.

Gary "Eggsy" Unwin - ESFJ

Taron Egerton as Eggsy in Kingsman 1

Harry's promising young apprentice, Eggsy may have started out as a rough "Chav," but he soon developed into a caring and loyal ESFJ. So great is his loyalty to his friends and Kingsman that, even when threatened with jail time, Eggsy would not give up information on his friends. He even refused to disclose Harry's identity to his violent stepfather.

Unfortunately, Eggsy's underlying compassion does restrict him on occasion. He could not bring himself to pull the trigger on his dog when instructed to do so, an action that prevented him from passing his Kingsman tests. He may seem cool on the outside, but Eggsy is a sociable character at heart who won over Princess Tilde with his charm.

Harry "Galahad" Hart-ISTJ

Colin Firth in Kingsman

Pragmatic, decisive and goal-oriented, Harry is a true ISTJ in every way. He is concrete and possesses the admirable ISTJ quality of being true to his word. From the moment that he provided a bravery medal to Eggsy after the death of his father, he kept his word to assist him should he or his mother ever feel the need to call the phone number on the back of the medal.

Harry exhibits a great deal of responsibility as well as efficiency in his work. However, it was his overcommitted attitude that lead to him getting shot in the eye by Richmond Valentine. Despite this downfall, Harry showcased great ISTJ stability and responsibility, leading to him being one of the most respected members of the Kingsman agency.

Merlin-INTP

Mark Strong as Merlin in Kingsman The Golden Circle

The technical expert of the Kingsman organization, Merlin possesses an analytical ability that few non-INTPs possess. This is part of the reason why he is so good at his role as the tester of all Kingsman candidates.

While typically a man of few words, Merlin can certainly be questioning when it comes to evaluating candidates and pushing them to the limits-a unique INTP trait. His ingenious thinking certainly proved valuable when Eggsy stepped on a landmine, as Merlin immediately decided to step on it and spray it using a canister that temporarily stalls detonation.

Roxy-ISFJ

Roxy Kingsman The Secret Service

While typically focused on the task at hand, Roxy displays a certain level of ISFJ warmth towards her friends and was the first person to befriend the new-arrival Eggsy and make him feel welcome. On the other hand, her intensity and seriousness boosted her to the top of her class and won her the title of Lancelot.

Like a true ISFJ, Roxy is thorough in her work and was able to look past her feelings and decide to shoot her dog in her final test—an action that Eggsy could not bring himself to take.

Chester "Arthur" King-ESTJ

Arthur in Kingsman Secret Service

The former head of the Kingsman agency, Chester was known to be an assertive and decisive leader who takes charge when it comes to furthering his agenda, as an ESTJ is expected to do. A great example of this was his move to detonate the chip in Professor James Arnold's neck so as to prevent Arnold from disclosing any information when he was interrogated by Kingsman.

King always displayed the ESTJ trait of being results-driven in both his work for the Kingsman as well as his hidden agenda against them. Unfortunately for him, due to placing too much focus on his agenda and not enough on accurately evaluating his opponents' capabilities, he was outsmarted by a determined Eggsy.

Champagne-ESFJ

The leader of American spy agency Statesman, Champagne is both a sociable and understanding leader. Like many strong ESFJs, Champagne is a harmonizer who immediately smoothed things over with the Kingsman after their encounter with Tequila in order to mend their working relationship.

As a true ESFJ, Champagne is people-oriented and holds the wellbeing of his agents as well as civilians as a priority. Despite the US president's orders, Champagne still decided to dispatch all available Statesman agents to track down a cure for Poppy's tainted drugs.

Tequila - ESTJ

Like most ESTJs, Tequila is decisive and typically follows through with his decisions once his mind is made up. This quality, along with his trait of being an active organizer, allows him to be an effective agent and talented fighter. At no time was this more evident than when he took down both Eggsy and Merlin on his own.

The one downside to his concrete personality, however, is his tendency to make rash decisions. If Ginger had not told convinced Tequila that Eggsy and Merlin told the truth about their identities, he could very have seriously harmed them.

Jack "Whiskey" Daniels - ENTJ

Kingsman 2 Golden Circle Whiskey

The highest-ranking agent in Statesman, Agent Whiskey was cunning and vision-focused—a value that is common among ENTJs. This, along with his constant pursuit of improvement, allowed him to successfully climb the ranks in Statesman, as well as almost successfully execute his secret plan.

While assertive and initiating, Whiskey sometimes allowed these traits to overpower his judgment and voice of reason, resulting in him misjudging certain situations. This is exactly what happened when Clara Von Gluckfberg immediately rejected him whilst attempting to flirt with her.

Ginger Ale - INFJ

Halle Berry in Kingsman The Golden Circle

A tech expert turned fully-fledged Statesman agent, Ginger Ale possesses great INFJ insight, as is evident by her effective work as a surveillance agent. She is exceptionally caring and pursues harmony with her Kingsman colleagues, as was evident when she bravely confronted Tequila about his battle with Merlin and Eggsy.

While she may be soft-spoken, she possesses the INFJ trait of being vision focused. Throughout her time as a surveillance agent, she never gave up on her goal of being promoted to agent, and she was eventually rewarded for her contributions to her organization.

Richmond Valentine - ENFP

A renown philanthropist and billionaire, Valentine was as future-oriented as ENFPs are expected to be. This trait, along with his enthusiasm, drove him to confront global environmental issues, albeit his twisted plan involved killing most of the world's population.

Despite his wickedness, Valentine came across as being energetic and warm, which allowed him to gain much popularity amongst celebrities, politicians, and even the President of the United States himself.

Poppy Adams - ENTJ

Julianne Moore in Kingsman The Golden Circle

While she may seem bubbly and eccentric on the outside, Poppy is actually a drug lord and all-around criminal mastermind. With a strong ENTJ personality, she is incredibly vision focused and goes to great lengths to achieve her goals, even if it involves committing gruesomely violent acts—which, unlike Valentine, she sadistically enjoys.

Poppy is an efficient planner, master strategist, and almost managed to hold the entire world hostage after lacing her toxin in every available recreational drug. Furthermore, she was able to destroy Kingsman HQ and wipe out nearly all of its members.
