Here's every upcoming and rumored Kingsman movie and TV show. As the comic book movie genre exploded in popularity during the 2010s, Fox helped bring a new franchise to the big screen that wasn't tied to superheroes. 2014 saw the studio release Kingsman: The Secret Service in theaters and introduce audiences to Eggsy (Taron Egerton), a young British man recruited to join the secret Kingsman organization and become a world-class spy. The movie was an underrated hit for Fox and received positive reviews, like the upcoming Dune, based on its mixture of comedy, elevated violence, and great action.

Director Matthew Vaughn has spearheaded the Kingsman franchise and adapted Mark Millar's comics. The first movie centered around Eggsy's ascension through the Kingsman ranks and saving the world from billionaire Richmond Valentine (Samuel L. Jackson). Released in 2017, Kingsman: The Golden Circle continued Eggsy's spy missions as he looked to take down the criminal and entrepreneur known as Poppy Adams (Julianne Moore). Both movies featured Colin Firth as Harry Hart and Mark Strong as Merlin, as they helped Eggsy during both of his missions. Although Kingsman: The Golden Circle's reviews weren't as widely positive as the original movie, the two films both earned more than $400 million at the box office.

It was due to the continued success of the Kingsman franchise that Fox worked with Matthew Vaughn to expand the universe. Disney's acquisition of Fox did put the franchise's future in question for a bit, as the R-rated comic book property doesn't fit the Mouse House's usual entertainment. However, Disney, 20th Century, and Vaughn's production company Marv Studios are moving forward with several different Kingsman sequels, prequels, and spinoffs. Here are all the Kingsman movies and TV shows in development.

The King's Man

Ralph Fiennes in The King's Man

The expansion of the Kingsman franchise begins with The King's Man. The movie is set during World War I and shows the origin of the Kingsman organization, placing it roughly a century before Eggsy joins the group. With the focus shifting off of Eggsy, The King's Man looks to return to form for the franchise. It introduces Orlando Oxford (Ralph Fiennes) and Conrad (Harris Dickinson) as the main characters. Conrad is the son of Orlando and will be ushered into the world of espionage during the movie. It is expected to provide plenty of answers about the Kingsman organization's origins and connect to the franchise at large.

Matthew Vaughn directs The King's Man after helming the original two Kingsman movies. The movie is scheduled to finally arrive in theaters in December 2021 after multiple delays, thanks to Disney's acquisition of Fox and the COVID-19 pandemic. On top of Fiennes and Dickinson, The King's Man's cast includes Djimon Hounsou and Gemma Arterton as characters associated with the Oxford family. The villains are played by Tom Hollander, Daniel Brühl, and Rhys Ifans. The King's Man also will see Charles Dance, Stanley Tucci, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Matthew Goode play new characters in the franchise.

Kingsman 3

The Kingsman franchise will also likely continue with Eggsy's story with Kingsman 3. The third film in Taron Egerton's trilogy has been discussed for a few years, but it was bumped back in the universe's plan to make The King's Man instead. Kingsman 3 will see Taron Egerton return to star and build off the events of the prequel movie in some fashion. The film will bring back Colin Firth as Harry Hart now that he is back from the dead, and Vaughn has teased it will wrap up the Harry-Eggsy relationship. It is not known if Mark Strong's Merlin will come back after his surprising death in Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Unfortunately, plot details for Kingsman 3 are not known either - despite a finished script existing according to Egerton.

Since Kingsman 3 is not been officially announced, it does not currently have a release date. Matthew Vaughn has said that he might not direct the third entry in this franchise, which would open the door for someone else to give Eggsy's story a fresh take. More news on Kingsman 3 should come after The King's Man's release and Disney figures out what they want to do with the franchise moving forward. There are rumors online that a possible Kingsman 3 is titled Kingsman: The Blue Blood, which could tease that Eggsy's final movie will see him and the Kingsmen take on someone from a prominent and wealthy family.

The Statesman Spinoff

There have also been plans for another Kingsman spinoff movie that will follow the Statesman. Introduced in Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Statesman is the American equivalent of the Kingsman. Details on the Statesman spinoff movie have not been easy to come by since it was first teased. However, the film could star Channing Tatum's Agent Tequilla, Halle Berry's Ginger Ale, and Jeff Bridges' Champagne. Flashbacks could even bring Agent Whiskey back due to Pedro Pascal's growing popularityStatesman doesn't have a director or release date yet, and it remains to be seen if the spinoff happens.

Kingsman TV Show

Plans for a Kingsman TV show were also officially announced several years ago. News of the 8-hour TV series first surfaced in 2018, but Matthew Vaughn hasn't provided any other updates on it since. Story details have yet to be revealed, but it is expected to revolve around the Kingsman organization in some fashion. This TV show could ultimately focus on a new group of recruits or even give other characters, like Roxy (Sophie Cookson), a chance for more significant roles. In her case, in particular, this would have to mean a prequel series considering Roxy's surprising death in Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

Four Mystery Kingsman Movies?

In addition to The King's ManKingsman 3, and Statesmen, there might be an additional four movies in the franchise at some level of development. This belief is because Marv Studios CEO Zygi Kamasa said in 2020 that Vaughn is developing "something like seven more Kingsman films." Vaughn has proven to be quite creative with the ideas for the franchise's expansion already, so there's no telling what these other four movies could be. The possibilities range from a sequel to The King's Man, a young Harry Hart movie, or even a spinoff origin film for Sofia Boutella's Gazelle. The full extent of the Kingsman franchise's future should rest with how well the upcoming movies perform, so these mystery films may never materialize.
