Screen Rant's exclusive The King's Man clip sees Matthew Vaughn discussing Stanley Tucci's casting and teasing the franchise's future. Vaughn returns to the Kingsman franchise to co-write and direct the prequel to his previous films and Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons' graphic novel series of the same name. The story centers around British duke Orlando Oxford as he begins putting together a team of skilled operatives, including his son, for the world's first independent spy organization to stop a cabal of the world's worst tyrants and criminal masterminds hatching a dark plot to wipe out millions.

Ralph Fiennes leads the cast of The King's Man alongside Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goodie, Djimon Hounsou, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl and Charles Dance. Having originally entered development in mid-2018, the prequel would initially see a swift turnaround with an original November release date planned, only for the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic to push its release back by two years. The King's Man finally hit theaters this past December to generally mixed reviews from critics and is now gearing up to make its way to audiences' homes.

Stanley Tucci and Aaron Taylor-Johnson's castings for The King's Man were two of the more interesting of the ensemble roster for the secrecy surrounding them in the months leading up to the film's release. As Matthew Vaughn reveals in the exclusive King's Man clip, Tucci's unnamed United States ambassador would ultimately take on a vital role in the framework of the Kingsman franchise as he was one of the founding members of the titular spy organization. Additionally, Taylor-Johnson, who reunited with Vaughn after the duo previously adapted Kick-Ass for the screen, also was revealed to be one of the fellow founders for the Kingsman in the film.

Vaughn's discussion of the franchise's future in the exclusive King's Man clip comes as the writer/director has teased numerous future projects for the action series. One such potential project Vaughn has teased includes a film centered on the original Kingsman agency in their first decade of operation, citing public demand as the deciding factor in getting a sequel off the ground, and while The King's Man underperformed at the box office, audiences responded largely favorably to the prequel. Those who didn't catch the film in theaters can pick up The King's Man on 4K Ultra-HD, Blu-ray and DVD on February 22 and see it on Hulu and HBO Max on February 18. It will also be available on Digital February 18.
