The suspects in Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum Kim Kardashians Paris robbery are set to stand trial soon. In 2016, the reality star was held a gunpoint in her hotel room while visiting the European city. Kim was lounging in her room alone with men dressed as police officers entered her room. The robbers reportedly tied Kim up and left her in the bathtub while they ransacked her room.

Thankfully, Kim left the situation without a scratch but had almost everything taken from her. Her infamous engagement ring from her now ex-husband, Kanye West, was also stolen that night. Even though Kim did suffer trauma after that night, she has been able to make a recovery. Now Kim and her family have become more aware of what and when they share something on social media.

According to Page Six, authorities said 12 people will stand trial in Paris over a $10 million jewelry heist targeting Kim in 2016. The mother of four revealed she was tied up and locked in a bathroom when armed robbers entered her Paris rental during fashion week more than five years ago. Since then, there has been an ongoing investigation, and it seems as though the investigating judges have finally ordered the case to be sent to trial. So far, 12 suspects will face a number of charges related to the robbery. A date for the trial has yet to be set, and authorities did not provide any further information. When the news outlet reached out to Kim, she and her team declined to comment.

Since the robbery in 2016, several suspects have been released from jail ahead of the trial for health reasons. One of those suspects includes Yunice Abbas, one of the five men accused of carrying out the heist. The 68-year-old even published a book about the robbery last year, which contained strange details from the night, such as swiping through the reality stars cell phone. While he had the phone with him, he was shocked when he noticed singer Tracy Chapman gave Kim a call. Another suspect behind the heist, Aomar Ait Khedache, wrote Kim an apology letter while he was in jail. He revealed that he regretted the robbery and didn't realize the psychological damage he caused.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star must be happy to see the men who caused her so much trauma from the Paris robbery are finally being punished for their actions. Even though Kim has moved on from that night, she must feel at peace knowing they will never do this again.
