Kim Kardashian's all-leather look at NYFW has Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans convinced Kanye West inspired her fashion. Kim stepped out in New York over the weekend wearing an all-black leather outfit that covered her entire face. Very similar to the face masks Kanye has now made his signature look, Kim appeared to take on Kanye's face-covered garb as her own. The dominatrix-looking ensemble comes amid reports of Kim and Kanye being on better terms despite their divorce.
In the last month of Kim and Kanye's ongoing divorce, the superstar couple has fueled reconciliation rumors through a private lunch date and special guest appearance. Ahead of Kanye hosting three massive listening parties to promote his 10th studio album Donda, the rap/fashion mogul enjoyed a private lunch date with Kim in Malibu. The outing came weeks after Kim and Kanye came together to take their four kids to a children's museum in San Francisco. Kanye also parted ways with his short-lived fling Irina Shayk after a few months of dating. At Kanye's third listening event, Kim came out in a white wedding gown as the two seemingly recreated their wedding day.
Now on the heels of Kanye securing his 10th number one album, Kim attended the NYFW festivities over the weekend and sported attire greatly inspired by her ex-husband. Kim was dripped in black leather from head to toe. Her face was fully covered in an all-black leather face covering that looked like the female version of one Kanye wore at his Donda listening party. The Kanye fan page Ye Sees Ghosts shared a photo of Kim's look on Twitter and spectators couldn't stop comparing her to her ex-husband. "You can tell Kim and Kanye is back together," one user said with a smiley face. Another assumed Kim was only trying to impress Kanye. "She wants to do what ever kanye says to get back together," they said.
During Kanye's listening parties, Kim wore a matching colored outfit with the Yeezy founder at each performance. If Kanye wore red, so did Kim. If Kanye wore all-black, so did Kim. Each showing, Kanye kept his face completely covered in a decorative face mask that seemingly introduced fans to the new era of Kanye's constantly evolving fashion. With Kim sporting a similar face mask at NYFW, it hints at there being solidarity between Kim and Kanye. Considering all the reconciliation rumors, Kim might be letting onlookers know the chatter might be true.
Her appearance comes on the heels of Kanye's breakup with Irina. While it's said that Kanye and Irina are still on friendly term, some also speculate that Kanye is working to get Kim back. He opened up a lot about their marital woes on Donda and it was clear that Kanye didn't desire to end the relationship. Now with him being more present, Kim is reportedly struggling to decide to move forward with her petition. Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans are hopeful Kim and Kanye will get back together. If Kim's fashion has any say, the two are definitely on track to rekindle their flame.
