Kim Kardashian does not seem too sure about Kourtney Kardashian's new friendship with Tik Tok star Addison Rae. In a sneak peek for the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim is seen questioning Kourtney's oldest son Mason Disick about his mom's newfound friendship. Mason was a fan of Addison's TikTok account prior to Kourtney's friendship with her. He has even gotten to film TikToks alongside the Internet sensation.
When Mason wanted to create his own TikTok account, Kourtney reached out to David Dobrik to assist her son. David is also well known on the app, with over 26 million followers; however, that number is seemingly nothing compared to Addison's 79 million followers. In March of 2020, Addison was invited over to the Kardashians' home, where she filmed a video alongside Mason. From there on out, she and Kourtney began to form a close friendship, hanging out quite often. Many fans have criticized the friendship for being an odd pairing due to the large age difference. Kourtney is a 41-year-old mom of three, while Addison is just 20 years old.
Fans are not the only ones who think Kourtney's friendship with Addison is a little out of the norm. Her sisters seem to think so as well. In a new trailer for the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim and Khloe question Mason about his mom's newfound friendship. Kim, Khloe and Mason are all seen sitting at the kitchen table together. Khloe asked Mason if Addison stays at their house often. Before he could answer, Kim added, "What room does she sleep in?" Mason simply answered, explaining she sleeps in his mom's room with her.
The family got a better look at Kourtney's friendship with Addison after she invited Addison to the Malibu house they rented for the summer. In a confessional included in the trailer, Kim explains that Kourtney does not typically act like this in her friendships. Kim said, "Kourtney's not really like this with her other girlfriends." Her changed behaviors is what lead to the curiosity amongst the sisters. The clips of Kourtney and Addison seen in the sneak peek include tons of laughs as well as dancing and night swims.
Mason is not the only one of Kourtney's kids to take some TikTok advice from Addison. Kourtney's daughter Penelope recently re-enacted one of Kourtney's infamous lines from Keeping Up With the Kardashians with the help of her friend. Fans believe that Penelope posted the video to Kourtney's TikTok account with her mom's knowledge. Similarly, Kourtney and Addison have also lip synced some fan favorite scenes from the show for the app as well. Although many feel Kourtney and Addison's friendship is a little odd due to their age difference, it seems to be pulling out the best in Kourtney. While Kourtney tends to be on the more reserved side, when she is around Addison she is carefree and fun.
