The truth has finally caught up with Kim and Kanye while setting the Shake it Off singer free. The infamous phone call between the three has been leaked online with the unedited version that shows Taylor was not lying about the interaction, according to the Mirror. The phone call in doubt took place back in 2016 and now the leaked version is uncovering the truth behind their lyric dispute. At the time, Taylor made it known that she was not okay with Kanye using her name in his song Famous, as he used it in a deprecating way. Kim, who was never one to miss out on the spotlight, had released their made-up phone call which showed Taylor agreeing for her name to be used. The particular line in question said, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ I made that bit*h famous.”

After hearing the unedited version of the phone call, some fans feel that both Kim and Kanye are sneaky and acted snake-like. Fans of both sides watched as the leaked clip showed Kanye sitting at his desk and he began to read the lyrics out to Taylor. The You Need to Calm Down singer was heard laughing saying, “that’s not mean” to which Kanye explained that is why he was calling and informing her because she had an “army” behind her. The conversation continued as Kanye then replied, "If you think that that’s cool, then it’s cool, if not… I mean we are launching on Good Friday on Soundcloud, on the site…"  Taylor responded, "The thing about me is anything that I do becomes like a feminist thing for me, and if I launch it, they’ll just turn it into something that… I think if I launch it, it will be less cool.

After hearing the entirety of the conversation, it became painfully obvious that Taylor never consented to the lyrics that degraded her. For fans, it was evident that she had not lied about their altercation and was manipulated by Kanye and Kim while being illegally recorded. The Grammy Award-winning artist made the decision to step back from the public eye after the backlash she received, as many sent her death threats for accusing Kanye and Kim of lying. The tides have officially turned; fans are not about to sit back and take the news of the couple’s lying ways lightly as they owe Taylor a very big, public apology.
