Keeping Up With The Kardashians alums Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are not back together despite reconciling for the reality star's Saturday Night Live debut. Ahead of the highly discussed gig, Kanye was reportedly helping Kim get prepared for the live show. Kim was allegedly nervous to host such an iconic show, and saw the opportunity as a major challenge to prove herself as more than just a pretty face on Instagram. In order to make the night a success, Kim asked Kanye to quietly advise her on her opening monologue, sketch delivery and costume changes.

Just ahead of her SNL hosting debut, Kim and Kanye were spotted leaving a hotel together as she made her way to 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Shortly after, Kim mocked her former husband and their highly publicized split. She said she has been blessed in life and is grateful she married the best rapper of all time and America's richest Black man. She also credited Kanye for being a genius who gave her four incredible kids. "So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality. I know it sounds mean, but people keep telling me that comedy comes from truth, and if there's one thing that I always strive to be, it's genuine," Kim said in her opening monologue.

Though Kim's constant Kanye talk throughout the one-hour episode, in addition to dinner dates and outings have fans wondering if the couple are repairing their marriage, Page Six's insider claims "nothing's changed." Though Kim still referred to herself with her full married name on NBC this weekend, they aren't back together. "He is still her family, and they are friends. They've been working on their friendship for the kids, and continue to support each other. He'll always be her family, and they'll always support each other," the insider said. In fact, the former couple stayed in separate hotels throughout their New York stay. Kim relaxed at The Ritz-Carlton on Central Park South, while Kanye resided at the Pendry Manhattan West.

However, the source confirmed that Kanye did attend Kim's week of rehearsals and helped her toss around ideas for the various sketches. He also often carpooled to the studio with her. When it came to show day, Kanye attended the show, but left right after Kim delivered her opening monologue and headed backstage. He also chose to not attend Kim's afterparty at the members-only club, Zero Bond.

Though Kim and Kanye aren't getting back together, it's nice to see one of Kim's exes constantly supporting her and making their new life together work for the kids. After all, this was Kim's longest marriage, and there's still a lot of love there. Hopefully Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans will get to see how much input Kanye had throughout the week when Hulu's footage starts airing for the family's newest reality show.
