In light of the COVID pandemic, Kim K has opened up about having to cancel the eccentric bash she had been planning for her upcoming birthday. The Kardashian family is known for its outrageous and blown-out-of-proportion themed parties. Throughout the lockdown, they have been opting for smaller get-togethers and gatherings, like Kourtney's drive-by, car parade birthday.

Throughout her twenties and until her thirty-first, the socialite and promoter celebrated most of her birthdays at nightclubs. Her exes, Reggie Bush and Kris Humphries celebrated with the reality TV star. Most notable are her recurring appearances at the famous nightclub, Tao. On her 30th birthday, Kim and her siblings (of legal age) were all in attendance to celebrate her birthday there. Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Rob partied the night away.

Kanye West proposed to his now-wife Kim K on her 33rd birthday. The rapper and designer asked for her hand in 2013, at an insanely executed proposal, which also doubled as a surprise birthday and engagement party. The $3 million proposal took place at San Francisco's AT&T Park.
Kanye lined up an orchestra and a special message on the Jumbotron. He extravagantly proposed to Kim with all of her family and friends around for the celebration. The party was a KUWTK special.

In 2015, Kanye West organized another surprise for her birthday. This time it was a pregnancy-themed party for the star's 35th. Family and friends shared laughs over the outrageous costumes and remade 'pregnant Kim' looks.
To celebrate, West rented a theater in Thousand Oaks, for the group's private screening of the Steve Jobs movie. Kim raved about her husband and her birthday party on this Instagram post.

Last year, Kim was whisked away for a pre-birthday, girl's getaway. Her sisters Kourtney and Kylie, and a couple of friends stayed the weekend in Palm Springs.
