The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian's former housekeeper is moving forward with his lawsuit against the star as he is now demanding sanctions. In May 2021, seven of Kim's former employees sued the reality TV star for failing to pay them overtime or cover expenses and making them work without breaks. The workers also claimed Kim withheld 10 percent of their money for taxes without reporting their employment to tax authorities. However, the SKIMS founder believes she can not be held responsible as the workers were hired through a third-party vendor, and it is the vendor's responsibility how they manage their business.

The update on the case comes about a week after Kim received backlash for her interview with Variety. The star of the upcoming Hulu series thought she gave some sage advice to women in business when she told them, "get your f---ing a-- up and work." Unfortunately, her advice was not well received by fans who found it very ignorant coming from someone who was born into a wealthy family with a well-known lawyer father and a famous athlete for a stepfather. Many of Kim's former workers began speaking out about the poor treatment they received when working on set of Keeping Up With The Kardashians or behind the scenes of one of her brands.

Kim has been dealing with a lot regarding her ongoing divorce with Kanye West, but her former housekeeper is feeling no sympathy as he pushes for the business mogul to be sanctioned. According to Radar, the housekeeper, Andrew Ramirez, is asking for a sum of money from the KKW Beauty founder. Ramirez is suing the star on behalf of himself and his son, Andrew Jr., and is demanding $1,857.50 in sanctions. The former housekeeper also has a list of questions he wants to be answered directly by Kim, but the star instead returned the questions with answers from her estate manager. Amongst the list is a request that Kim hands overall footage of the employees on her property.

While Kim continues to play innocent, fans online are not exactly having her back. After her Variety quote went viral, fans are bringing up the contradictions between what Kim said and how former employees are saying they were treated. Twitter user @Nicky_Spacc responded to the news with a meme rewording Kim's initial message to say, "Get your f***ing a** up and [underpay your employees], it seems like no one wants to [neglect the help] these days." The tweet received over 3K likes proving that many people are recognizing the irony of the whole situation.

It seems like Kim might want to reevaluate her own business mentality before giving advice to others. While the claims are neither confirmed nor denied, she surely has a lot of former employees against her, especially with the women who have recently come out against her on social media. While there's no denying The Kardashians star is a hard worker, she should certainly treat all the hard workers she employs with the same respect she wants to receive. Here's to hoping the case is settled in the fairest and quickest way possible.
