Kim Kardashian may be Hollywood royalty in America, but apparently, London doesn't share the same perspective because The Kardashians star was denied tickets to Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee party. The jubilee is a celebration that marks milestones of a British monarch. This year, the 96-year-old queen, who lost her husband, Prince Philip, in 2021, is celebrating 70 years on the throne. The Royal Family is celebrating with four days of events, including concerts and street parties for London crowds. Queen Elizabeth became the longest-running British monarch, beating out her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria, who previously held the record when she served for 63 years.

It may seem like Kim has been invited to every party, but this isn't the case. Besides being denied tickets to the Platinum Jubilee party, Kim was left off the invite list for the New York City Met Gala for years until she began dating Kanye West and attended the event as his plus-one in 2013. As a reality star who rose to fame after her sex tape with singer Ray J leaked, the business mogul struggled to be taken seriously in the fashion industry. Luckily, Kanye was able to open doors for her in places she wasn't welcomed before their relationship.

Unfortunately, Kim's ex-husband doesn't have the same effect on Queen Elizabeth as The Kardashians star could not secure tickets to the royal event. According to the Daily Mail, Kim wanted to attend the Platinum Jubilee party at the Buckingham Palace on Saturday night, but officials denied her request, as did publicists at the BBC, who will be broadcasting the show. However, sources claimed that Kim, who is never one to give up on her dreams, is still trying to acquire tickets, even if it means they're not VIP. The star plans to attend with her boyfriend, Saturday Night Live actor Pete Davidson.

Kim Kardashian Skims

"Kim rarely gets turned down to attend any event, so this has been quite surprising, especially as she doesn't visit the UK often. Kim and Pete love the Royal Family and really wanted to be a part of this special celebration," the source said. Kim arrived in London with Pete earlier this week, and the two spent the last few days jewelry shopping and visiting the Dover Street Market. It's unclear if the reality star traveled to the European city specifically for the party.

It seems things don't always go Kim's way, even if it feels like The Kardashians star runs the world. The ticket denial has certainly given Kim a taste of reality; however, it doesn't mean she's giving up so easily. Knowing Kim, she has a plan B lined up and will work her A-list celebrity status to get into the royal event. If not, she can always go back to Staten Island with her SNL prince and lay low for the weekend.
