Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian is celebrating her daughter Chicago West's 4th birthday. The little girl was named after father Kanye West's hometown. She is the third of Kim and Kanye's four children. The estranged couple also share North, Saint, and Psalm.

Chicago's 4th birthday comes at a very tumultuous time in her parents' personal lives. It is the child's first birthday since Kim officially filed for divorce in February 2021. It's been almost a year since that filing, but Kanye reportedly still believes he can win the mother of his children back. Meanwhile, his estranged wife is happy in her first public relationship since the split. Kim's new beau Pete Davidson met her children already. The comedian was reportedly a big hit with the four tykes, as well as the rest of his girlfriend's famous family. But the personal life that's making so many headlines was set aside, as Kim made sure the focus was on her youngest daughter and her special day.

In honor of Chicago's 4th birthday, Kim wrote a sweet birthday tribute to her mini-me on Instagram. Kim, who boasts a whopping 279 million followers, wrote, "My birthday baby girl Chi Chi turns 4 today! My independent baby girl twin. You are the most lovable huggable snuggable baby girl on the planet. The ultimate princess!" The SKIMS founder continued, "You really have brought so much joy into our family and I love you so so soooo much!!!!" The loving caption accompanied a carousel of cute pics and videos of Chicago, her siblings, and her mama. The adorable tribute inspired a number of comments from Kim's famous friends, who all wished her daughter a happy 4th birthday. The birthday girl's aunt Kylie Jenner, who is expecting her second child, left several heart eyes and white hearts emojis. Supermodel Bella Hadid wrote, "She is HEAVENNNN!!!!!!! Ur twin!!!!!"  Bella was one of the numerous commenters who gushed over the striking resemblance between little "Chi Chi" and Kim.

Noticeably absent from the tribute was Chi Chi's father, Kanye West. While Kim and Kanye initially seemed to get along fine after they split, that has changed in recent months. The increased friction appears to be as a direct result of the Grammy Award winner's increasingly erratic behavior. The day before his daughter's birthday, the rapper made headlines for his new song. In the lyrics, Kanye threatened to beat Pete up, even insinuating he survived his 2002 car crash for the very purpose.

Many are befuddled by Kanye's continued insistence the KKW Beauty founder will take him back. Even though his ex filed to be legally single, and is in a happy new relationship, the musician has not let go. His extreme reaction to Kim's romance with Pete is also hypocritical, considering that Kanye has been in multiple public relationships since the split. Most recently, the Yeezy designer has been spending a lot of time with Uncut Gems leading lady Julia Fox.

The drama between the rapper and the former Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is only ramping up. Kanye, who bought the house across from Kim, also recently accused her of keeping him from his children. It's uncertain whether or not the former spouses will be able to set the tension aside to celebrate their daughter's birthday. Even with all the fuss, however, Kim is reportedly happier than ever, and seems to only want her children to be happy as well.
