Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have hit quite a few bumps in the road over the years. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been married to the famous rapper for six years. The power couple have sparked multiple rumors this year of a divorce. Despite their hard times, they have had some really great times as well.
Kanye and Kim both stepped into the spotlight for the first time just years apart. Kanye began his rapping career in 2004, just three years before the premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The two actually met prior to kicking off their careers and remained friends for 10 years before starting a romantic relationship. When Kim and Kanye first started dating Kim was still finalizing her divorce with ex husband Kris Humphries. Kim fell pregnant with their first child North West in 2013. Her and Kanye got married one year later in Italy. The power couple has since had three more kids, Saint 5, Chicago 2 and Psalm 1. Over the years, Kim and Kanye have made headlines multiple times with rumors of conflict and divorce.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have definitely been through a lot in their six years of marriage. In 2016, Kim was robbed at gunpoint while in Paris for Fashion Week. According to Biography, the robbers stole her wedding ring from Kanye worth $4.9 million. Following Kim's attack, Kanye was hospitalized, forcing him to cancel the rest of his tour. That same year, Kanye had a bipolar diagnosis. Many fans believe this could be the reasoning behind his many skeptic Twitter rants and outbursts. During these episodes, Kanye has announced he was running for president as well as disclosing his and Kim's conversations about abortion. Both Kim and Kanye apologized for the comments; however, Kim never left her husband's side through it all. Most recently, Kanye was diagnosed with Covid-19, causing Kim to handle all four kids as well as work by herself while also taking care of him.
Despite hitting some rough spots over the years, Kim and Kanye also have their fair share of romantic and amazing moments together as well. Right before the two started dating, Kanye flew Kim out to Paris for Fashion Week. Biography shared that Kim Kardashian once mentioned that from the second she landed on the trip she instantly fell in love with her now husband. Kanye and Kim shared another magical moment together when Kanye rented out the baseball stadium in San Francisco to propose to her. Kim's entire family was there and he even made sure to have fireworks. The two got had a romantic wedding in Italy a year later. It has been portrayed that Kanye seems to make every birthday and holiday as picture perfect as possible for Kim, mostly with his unique and extravagant gifts. Over the years, Kim and Kanye have welcome four beautiful babies into the world as well.
With all of the good comes some bad. Although no marriage is ever perfect, it seems as though Kim and Kanye may have some work to do to continue to keep the spark between them. Hopefully the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star can figure out a way to get her marriage back to where it needs to be.
