After his success with The Mummy films in the early 2000s, Fraser was a relatively hot name in Hollywood until he seemingly fell off the map in the 2010s. However, in the past few years, a small but vocal community of Brendan Fraser fans have championed for the star to have a career revival. While it's highly unlikely that Scorsese cast Fraser in response to these fans, it's nonetheless exciting to see Fraser in such a high-profile role. Hopefully Killers of the Flower Moon will serve as a second wind for Fraser's career after so many years away from the limelight.
