Touch revolves around a former journalist named Martin Bohm (Kiefer Sutherland) who struggles to raise his young son after his wife succumbs to her injuries during the September 11 attacks. Worse still, his son Jake gets diagnosed with autism.

Martin soon finds out that his son can communicate using numbers. He also realizes that his son can predict bad things that are about to happen. In each episode, Martin's son gives him a new number which he follows up on to prevent disasters or solve mysteries.

Freddie Lee Cobb: A Time To Kill (7.5)

Kiefer Sutherland was nominated for Best Villain at the MTV Movie Awards for his performance in this film. A Time To Kill had a star-studded cast that included Samuel L. Jackson, Sandra Bullock, Matthew McConaughey, Ashley Judd, and Kevin Spacey.

The movie is set in Canton, Mississippi where an amateur lawyer and his loyal assistant defend an African American who is accused of killing two white men who assaulted and raped his ten-year-old daughter. Freddie Lee Cobb (Sutherland) is the revenge-seeking brother of one of the assaulters.

President Kirkman: Designated Survivor (7.6)

In the political thriller, Sutherland played Thomas Kirkman, a member of the cabinet who is forced to take over at the White House after the president and all other members of the cabinet get killed in a terrorist attack during the "State Of The Union" address.

The series aired for two seasons at ABC before moving to Netflix for its third and final season. Sutherland plays an FBI agent and pathologist named Sam Stanley who is sent to investigate the murder of a prostitute named Teresa Banks in Deer Meadow, Washington. Sam and his partner end up making a couple of shocking discoveries.

The movie also focusses on the last days of a popular high school student named Laura Palmer in the fictional town of Twin Peaks in Washington. The movie was initially met with bad reviews but went on to achieve cult status among audiences.

Corner Gas was a sitcom set in the fictional town of Dog River in Saskatchewan, Canada. The plot revolved around a gas station named Corner Gas which was the sole station in a 60 kilometers radius in all directions direction. A man named Brent was the owner of the gas station while a woman named Wanda worked at the station's shop.

Kiefer Sutherland appeared as himself in an episode titled "Final Countdown." Plenty of other celebrities made guest appearances on the show too. After the final season, Corner Gas was adapted into an animated show. The characters were voiced by the original actors.

John "Ace" Merrill: Stand By Me (8.1)

When Sutherland played the gang leader John "Ace" Merrill in Stand By Mehe was barely known in Hollywood. It was the '80s, after all. Still, he gave quite a spirited performance. The movie also received an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.

In the movie, a writer recounts a moment in his childhood when with the help of his friends, he tried to locate the body of a missing boy. In their search, they face several challenges including an encounter with the ruthless Ace and his gang.

Jack Bauer: 24 (8.3)

This is considered to be Kiefer Sutherland's best role to date. In 24, Jack was the Director of Field Operations for the fictional Counter-Terrorist Unit in Los Angeles. He was also a killing machine who would torture and murder villains using any kind of weapon available.

Jack did this for the greater good. Throughout the show's run, he managed to subvert multiple terrorist plots and save America. 24 won multiple Emmys throughout its eight-season run and it's often considered one of the best TV shows of all time.

Jack Bauer: 24 - Live Another Day (8.4)

After the eighth season, it seemed like 24 was over. But then Fox decided to bring it back one final as a mild spin-off/limited series (12 episodes instead of the usual 24). This time, the setting wasn't the usual American soil but London in the United Kingdom.

In 24: Live Another Day, Jack comes out of hiding in London after hearing about a plot to assassinate President James Heller who is the father of his former lover Audrey. Soon, he discovers that there is more to the conspiracy than just an assassination.
