Khloe Kardashian doesn't like when people refer to her daughter as "big" and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum is explaining why. Khloe has struggled with body image issues since her youth and doesn't want True Thompson to experience the same thing. With True being the daughter of two tall parents, the toddler carries on the trait. But Khloe wants to make sure people understand the difference between calling someone "tall" or "big."

The Good American founder has been transparent about her health struggles over the years. Khloe used her Revenge Body series to help others obtain their weight loss goals as she did once she divorced Lamar Odom. Earlier this year, Khloe opened up about how hard it was for her to grow to love her body after dealing with comparisons to her siblings all of her life. Khloe was caught in a leaked photo scandal and she responded to the backlash by posting a few videos showing off her body. In a lengthy caption, she admitted to still struggling from insecurities over her looks and that's why she went so hard over the unedited bikini pic that surfaced online.

With Khloe raising a daughter of her own, she's working to reverse some of the damage she experienced since childhood. "When it comes to food — I had so many issues. It wasn't from one person, I guess just from society or how people critiqued my body," Khloe told Health magazine. "So, I don't play when it comes to True. She's very tall. People will always say, 'She's so big.' And I'll say, 'Oh, she's so tall.' I try to make them be more descriptive. I know what an adult means when they say that, but I don't want her to misinterpret that." It's a good observation and Khloe's way of protecting her daughter from some of the emotional scars she still carries.

KUWTK Khloe Kardashian and True New Years Eve

Khloe credited True with being "really tough," calling the trait "a great thing." She recalls seeing her daughter bump into things and just brush it off and keep going about her business. Khloe will console her daughter, but she notices the toddler doesn't yearn for it. "I do try to always tell her that it's OK if she cries or if something is wrong," Khloe added. Khloe has been one of the more transparent about her body and cosmetic enhancements when compared to her family. During the KUWTK reunion, Khloe admitted to having a nose job when the family was asked about promoting unattainable beauty standards.

With True being the daughter of a reality star and NBA champion, she will grow up under the public eye. But Khloe is already instilling the self-love and confidence she'll need when handling public criticism. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians sisters have been spotted filming their new Hulu content. True also appears in a commercial Khloe and Kris shot for the streaming platform. Khloe will possibly share new aspects of her parenting journey on Hulu. Fans enjoy watching the famous family and their offspring.
