Khloé Kardashian was really feeling generous this holiday season. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was reunited with Tristan Thompson at the annual Kardashian Christmas party.
After two infidelities, the couple went through a difficult breakup earlier this year. Despite their tumultuous past, Kardashian decided to put the past behind them and invite Thompson to the holiday bash. As the father of their 20-month-old daughter, True, it seemed only right that he be present, along with the rest of the Kardashian clan, including Robert Kardashian.
In October of this year, Kardashian explained that Thompson wanted to reconcile, but she did not. Now, according to Us Weekly, the two are spending more time together, but they aren't in a relationship. After receiving a diamond necklace from Thompson for her birthday, Kardashian decided to forgive him and move on from his past indiscretions, which included him kissing Kylie Jenner's former best friend, Jordyn Woods.
“Life is short! We are all humans trying to figure out this thing called life … Yes, I’m allowed to feel hurt and pain. It would be unnatural for me to pretend as if I don’t. Personally, I don’t want to be carrying around a hateful heart,” she wrote via Instagram earlier in December. “I crave peace in my life. Me holding onto hate is only going to hurt me in the end. I have chosen to NOT pollute my heart and my energy by holding onto anything negative … I am allowed to forgive but still not accept their behaviors … I was nothing but beautiful blessings for EVERYBODY that has ever been in my life.”
Kardashian has always been supportive of Thompson spending time with their daughter. While that doesn't necessarily mean she wants to jump back into a relationship, it's encouraging to see that she's sticking to her work and maintaining the peace that she so craves in her life. The holidays are a time to forgive, and Kardashian is a shining example of that. A source close to the family thinks that Tristan misses the perks that come with dating a Kardashian. The holiday party included unforgettable performances by Sia and Kanye West's Sunday Service choir, which are certainly perks, but that didn't seem to affect Kardashian's decision to include Thompson in the holiday gathering this year. While it doesn't seem like True's parents will ever reunite in a happy relationship, it's heartwarming to know that they'll be able to raise their daughter in a loving and encouraging environment.
