After the season finale of Hulu's The Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian admitted that she struggled when the show rehashed her ex Tristan Thompson's paternity scandal. Tristan and Khloe have been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2016 and co-parent their daughter True, 4. During The Kardashians season finale, viewers were finally shown the behind-the-scenes look at Tristan's paternity suit scandal. The Kardashians cast first unearthed the paternity scandal when Khloe's sister, Kim Kardashian, discovered legal paperwork showing that Tristan had fathered a child with Maralee Nichols, a personal trainer from Texas, and was being sued for child support. Tristan was with Khloe at the time he cheated with Nichols.

This is not the first time Tristian has been caught cheating with other women. In 2018, media outlets obtained old surveillance footage of Tristan getting cozy with two women at a hookah lounge. Less than a year after Tristan was caught cheating on Khloe with several different women during her pregnancy came the infamous Jordyn Woods kiss, which was the incident that tore apart Kylie Jenner and Jordyn's friendship. The Maralee indiscretion is just the latest in a long history of Tristan's public infidelity.

During the finale, Khloe was humiliated and embarrassed when she found out about Tristan's most recent infidelity when fans did."You're not even gonna be a f*****g heads up before the rest of the world?" Khloe said on the show. "It's just an additional slap in my face. It's humiliating, I'm embarrassed." It was a hard enough event to live through the first time, so having to revisit the situation on The Kardashians wasn't easy for Khloe. "This was definitely a tough episode," Khloe commented on Twitter. However, rewatching her trauma made Khloe appreciate how her family was able to help her through the tough times. "We we’ll always stick together and love one another deeply," she added.

In an another tweet Khloe referred to the scandal as a "teachable moment" and commented that "Love heals & teaches more than anger or hate ever will. We all deserve forgiveness and most of all… LOVE." However, despite Khloe's belief in forgiveness, it’s unclear what her relationship with Tristan will look like moving forward. Khloe is committed to keeping things as normal as possible for their daughter. On the show she shared that True and Tristian FaceTime each other every night and that she keeps the drama surrounding their relationship out of the pair's co-parenting relationship. "True will never know anything's wrong in my book, ever," she said, "I've done this before. I know how to do it."

Fans have speculated whether Khloe will take Tristan back (again) after he put her through yet another embarrassing cheating scandal. It wouldn't be the first time Khloe has forgiven the 31-year-old basketball player for stepping out on her. However, with recent reports of Khloe snuggling up to a private equity investor she met through sister Kim at a dinner party a few weeks back, chances are the reality star is finished pursuing Tristian romantically for good. Currently, there's been no official release date for The Kardashians, season 2, but with the finale episode promising the series (and unfolding drama) is "to be continued," it’s anyone's guess what the sisters have in store for fans next season.
