After years of their on-again-off-again romance, former Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Khloé Kardashian is ready to say goodbye to Tristan Thompson for good. The couple began dating back in 2016 after a close friend set the two up on a blind date. They seemed blissfully in love, and just a year later the pair announced they were expecting. Their relationship was a turbulent one, however, and things went downhill following the news that Tristan had cheated on Khloé. The news came just days before Khloé gave birth to their beautiful baby girl, True Thompson.

Originally, Khloé made the decision to keep the relationship going. The couple stayed together for 10 more months before once again, another cheating scandal occurred. This time with a close family friend of the Kardashian's, Jordyn Woods. Following this news, Khloé promptly broke up with Tristan. However, a year later the pandemic began, and the couple started to quarantine together. After Khloé's 36th birthday in late June of 2020, the couple confirmed they were giving it another try. They remained together for a year until finally Khloé and Tristan officially split. Earlier in January, it was confirmed Tristan Thompson had fathered another child with a woman, Maralee Nichols. The baby was born in December, meaning this was yet another infidelity in Khloé and Tristan's relationship.

There's been plenty of chatter and speculation following the news, wondering if Khloé would take him back. A source close to the Kardashians spoke with People to shut down the rumors stating, "She has a great support system though. They are helping her to move on. This is it for her relationship with Tristan. She says she will never take him back again." A big change considering, as the source stated, in the summer Khloé and Tristan had even been trying for a second baby. Ever since quarantine things seemed to be looking up. Tristan had posted about how much he valued their family, and it looked like things may actually work out, "It took a lot for Khloé to get back with Tristan. They had such amazing family time during the lockdown. Khloé really believed that Tristan had changed."

While the news about the pregnancy seemed to have been known before, it was only publicized in early January. Following the news, Tristan issued a public apology on his Instagram Story stating, "Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry." Khloé never publically accepted or commented on Tristan's statement, though it is said that she spoke to Tristan privately afterward. While the couple will have to see each other, considering they are raising their daughter together, it seems like Khloé is trying her best to distance herself from the narrative.

Khloé Kardashian has certainly been put through the wringer when it comes to her relationship with Tristan Thompson. The former Keeping Up With The Kardashian cast is a tight bunch, no matter what they always stick up for and support their own. As Khloé moves into this transitional phase of her life, it's good to know she has a group of people who are always on her side.
