After months of taking time to get over Tristan Thompson, Khloe might finally be returning to the dating scene. Khloe stepped out over the weekend and decided to bring an ex with her. Considering Khloe and Trey's past romantic history, fans are suspecting she is finally moving on from Tristan.
It was June of last year when sources announced Khloe and Tristan's breakup. The split was announced following Tristan's alleged cheating scandal with a woman named Sydney Chase. At the time the breakup news hit the press, fans assumed it was because of Sydney and Khloe's loss of trust in Tristan. While the latter might've been a huge factor, there was a paternity scandal brewing that wouldn't be revealed until months later. Following a DNA test as part of Maralee Nichols' paternity suit, Tristan started the year owning up to being the father of her newborn son.
Amid Khloe's split from Tristan, she appears to be opening herself back up to the idea of dating. Khloe was spotted at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood on Saturday with her ex Trey Songz, Page Six reports. The former couple sat at a booth together for an intimate party thrown by Justin Bieber. Khloe and Trey say they enjoyed plenty of one-on-one conversation during the private event. The party was attended by a small group of about 20 people, but Khloe and Trey spent most of the night together.
Khloe and Trey have a dating history that goes back to 2016 right before the Good American co-founder started dating Tristan. At the time, Khloe and Trey ignited dating rumors after they were seen making out at Drai’s Nightclub in Las Vegas. They followed the kissing session up by enjoying a date to Top Golf. In September 2016, Khloe and Trey attended Kevin Hart and Eniko Hart's wedding together. While they were “seriously dating” at the time, they reportedly had “a great relationship,” but the timing wasn't right in taking things further. That same month, Khloe would start sparking dating rumors with Tristan.
Now that Tristan is out of the picture, Khloe and Trey might be trying to rekindle their old flame. The Kardashians star doesn't have the best track record on picking spouses. While Trey isn't a professional athlete like Lamar Odom or Tristan, the R&B singer has faced his own controversies. Last month, he was named in his third sexual assault lawsuit from a woman who claims to have been attacked by the singer in 2016. If Khloe is considering dating Trey, she could face new criticisms from the general public.
