Khloé Kardashian is concerned about her ex-boyfriend French Montana amid reports of his hospitalization for cardiac problems. The two dated for about a year, and have remained close friends since their breakup.
Montana was rushed to a Los Angeles-area hospital after complaining of nausea, stomach pains, and an elevated heart rate. The 35-year-old rapper was set to be released Friday, but when his symptoms persisted, doctors thought it best to keep him admitted for continued observation. Throughout his ordeal, Montana has been alert and awake. Kardashian quickly reached out to him, just to see how he was feeling and to get any information she could about his prognosis. She also wanted to offer him assistance, in case he needed anything. Montana and Kardashian began their relationship roughly five years ago, after her split from husband Lamar Odom. The rebound relationship was one that the rapper and reality star both seemed to enjoy. They were often spotted out on the town together, and Montana even made frequent appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and its spin-off series.
Montana was interviewed back in August about his post-breakup friendship with Khloe. He had nothing but kind things to say about her and their time together. "When the love was like that, it's always going to be like that. Friendship after a relationship is something that's real hard to do, and I'm glad we've been able to do it."
Kardashian has a strong track record of looking after the men in her life. Her marriage to pro baller Lamar Odom ended in 2016. However, he struggled with sex addiction and drug abuse during their relationship. Midway through the divorce proceedings, Odom was found passed-out and near death in a Nevada brothel. Kardashian rushed to be by his side and even made all the arrangements to care for him during his fight back to good health. Kardashian had a relationship with athlete James Harden that reportedly ended when he dumped her because of her fame. However, she has never spoken ill of Harden publicly. After those relationships, she became involved with Tristan Thompson, with whom she later had a daughter. She and Thompson appeared to have found in each other a compatible partner, until he was caught in several cheating scandals during the course of their relationship. Still, Kardashian has continued to put her personal feelings about the betrayal behind her for the sake of their daughter.
Everybody needs a friend like Khloé Kardashian. Regardless of the relationship semantics, she seems really open-minded about keeping people in her life. If Montana's condition worsens, he can rest assured that Kardashian will be there to lend support. In the event that he gets better, she and her family will probably be the first ones to welcome him back with a huge party on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and plenty of congratulations.
