Key And Peele's "MC Mom" dials up the cringe levels to the max in the most hilarious way possible. Key And Peele was a breakthrough Comedy Central series for the title comic duo, which also spawned several viral sketches. There was the classic "East/West College Bowl" - where Key and Peele got to show off a full range of bizarre characters at a rapid-fire pace - the thoughtful "Consequences" and the Gremlins 2 pitch meeting, which is made all the funnier by the fact all the outlandish ideas discussed really appear in the final product.

Key And Peele ended after five seasons in 2015, though their collaboration continued to 2016 action-comedy Keanu and a joint appearance in Pixar's Toy Story 4. Jordan Peele would go on to become an acclaimed horror director, writing and helming 2017's Get Out and Us. Keegan-Michael Key has been keeping busy too, co-starring in movies like Playing With Fire and starring in TV series Friends From College.

While fans of the comedy duo would love to see a reunion, Peele seems to have moved on from acting, so a Key And Peele revival doesn't currently look likely. There are still around 300 sketches from the show fans can revisit and the pair proved time and time again they were masters of creating skits that cranked up the cringe dial. There's certainly the case with "MC Mom," where Key's college student Karl is sent a rap DVD by his mother and his friends force him to watch it with them; what happens next is transcendent.

Key And Peele's "MC Mom" sees Peele's matriarch perform a skin-crawlingly bad rap for her son, which hits all the expected cringe points. It gradually ramps up in intensity, as MC Mom takes about finding lots of "crispy" socks and a swimwear magazine that won't open - apparently Karl because spilled a soda on it - as even his friends become uncomfortable with how personal the video gets. Their reactions are part of what makes the sketch work so well, but Jordan Peele's utter commitment to his motherly persona is why it's so memorable, especially when MC Mom announces "Oh, the beat changed up."

Key And Peele's "MC Mom" skit may not be one of their most celebrated, but it displays their talent for taking an awkward comic situation and gradually making it more outlandish. Not every skit worked but when they land - like "MC Mom" does - it's hard not to crack up.
