Claim To Fame is a new celebrity relative show coming to ABC, and it will be hosted by the oldest and youngest Jonas brothers, Kevin and Frankie. The Jonas family is very familiar with fame as the Jonas Brothers band, comprising of Kevin, Joe and Nick, was formed in 2005 when the boys were 17, 15 and 12, respectively. Eventually, the Jonas brand was recognized as more than just music as the brothers started acting with Disney in 2006. This addition to their career only made them more successful. Kevin and his wife, Danielle Jonas, ventured even further into the celebrity world and joined the E! network, where they had a reality show called Married To Jonas.

Things went sour with the brothers in 2013, and the band broke up shortly before they were supposed to release their fifth album V. During the time apart, Nick and Joe continued to participate in the music industry separately, while Kevin kept out of the public eye. In 2019, the brothers reunited and dropped their hit single "Sucker." Shortly after the band reunited, the brothers partnered with Amazon Video to create the Chasing Happiness documentary that discussed the Jonas Brothers' fame, success and their time apart from each other. Since the brothers reunited, the brothers have released an album, worked on projects together and separately, and seemingly have a better family dynamic.

Nick and Joe have always had more individual projects than their brothers. But now, according to THR, Kevin and the youngest Jonas brother, Frankie, will now have their own project where they will serve as hosts for an upcoming ABC reality show. The new show will have a similar format to CBS' Celebrity Big Brother. The objective of the show is for the 12 participants to conceal the identity of their famous relative and participate in different competitions that will allow them to earn their own fame. The participants of the Jonas-hosted series will be secluded from the public and will participate in challenges and play DNA detective. In addition to completing challenges, the players will also have to form alliances to keep themselves from getting eliminated, and in the end, they hope to win the grand prize of $100,000. Since the announcement of the show, a few fans of the Jonas brothers have expressed their excitement about the new ABC reality show. Fan @nicolejonas12, "Keeping up with 3 Jonas shows will be like men trying to watch every NFL game every week during football season and I’m here for it." (Nick will serve as a dance creator on NBC's new dance show, Dancing With Myself, and Joe is serving as a judge on MTV's new singing show, Becoming A Popstar.)

Kevin and Frankie are the perfect celebrity pair to host this show as their life stories are similar to the premise of the show. Though Kevin was in the band with his brothers, he was always labeled the least famous Jonas as his role in the band was not as prominent to the public as Joe's and Nick's. For Frankie, he was given the title "Bonus Jonas" because for years many fans were not aware that there was a fourth Jonas brother. But even when Frankie became known to the world, his lack of celebrity lifestyle caused him to sometimes be forgotten by fans. When promoting the Jonas-hosted series, Frankie hinted at this in his Instagram caption that said, "I know a thing or two about being related to celebrities, which is why I'm beyond stoked to announce that I am co-hosting a new @ABCNetwork series with my brother @kevinjonas." Though many may not be aware, Frankie appeared in a few episodes of his brothers' Disney show, Jonas, and he also did some voice work for the English Version of Ponyo, directed by Hayao Miyazaki.

Thus far, ABC has only revealed the hosts for Claim To Fame. Fans are still awaiting information about when the show will premiere and who the contestants will be. Information about filming for the show has not yet been released. If filming has not yet begun, there is a possibility the show will not air on the network until late 2022 or early 2023.
