Stars of Counting On, Kendra Duggar and Joseph Duggar share their newest addition, Addison Renee Duggar's first photos at home. The family of four is settling into life with their new bundle of joy.
Kendra Caldwell married Joseph Duggar, the seventh child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar from 19 Kids and Counting, back in September of 2017. The couple welcomed their first child, their son Garrett David Duggar, on June 8th, 2018. Earlier this year, in April, Kedra and Joe announced that they are expecting a second child and that it would be double the fun in their Duggar household. The couple welcomed their first daughter Addison on November 2, 2019, and weighed 7 lbs, 12.5 oz, and was 20.5 inches long.
The ever-growing family documented Addison's first days at home with some professional photos that they posted to Instagram showing off their family of four. The couple has been adjusting to life with two children under the two-year mark, and they are feeling confident about the transition. The couple told Us Weekly before Addison's arrival, that they are excited to see how Garrett and the new baby will get along. She said, "I think it’s gonna be fun to see him kind of grow into a big brother and hopefully be a protective and caring older sibling." In the series of pictures, the couple posted to Instagram, the first shows Addison swaddled in a beige blanket, the second photo alongside her big brother, Garrett, and the third of the proud parents holding their little bundle of joy - check out the Duggar's new family photos below:
Back in October when Kendra was still pregnant with Addison, she spoke about how it's going to be adding a baby in addition to their 17-month-old son. She said, "We’re kind of already in that napping, changing diapers groove with Garrett still, so I think it will be just adding another [to that]." She expected, "We’ll both be busy, I guess. All hands will be tied up taking care of little ones, but there are always challenges. [Our son] can’t do much himself, so he’s going to need a lot of help, but we’re excited about this new chapter."
Now that the couple is all settled into their home, the family is all smiles. It seems that this young Duggar couple have are fully confident in their ability to raise two little ones that are so close in age.
