Kena: Bridge of Spirits gives players a unique adventure experience as they follow the titular character on her dangerous journey, but some of the game's Spirit Mail items can be hard to find. Kena guides the spirits of the forest and clears corruption as she searches for the Sacred Mountain Shrine, and players can upgrade abilities, find collectibles, and fight powerful bosses along the way.
Collectibles and mysteries are staples for any modern action-adventure RPG. Similar to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, there are hidden secrets in Kena: Bridge of Spirits as well. One of the more difficult collectibles to track down is Spirit Mail. Players can find and collect these items in various places all over the map.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits has 10 Spirit Mail locations, from the Forgotten Forest to the Village Heart, that can be easy to miss. There are also some that aren't available until later in the game when players have access to new abilities. After clearing the corruption around these items and picking them up, players will see that they correspond to specific houses in the Village. Like most games with hidden collectibles, there are rewards for finding the Spirit Mail in Kena: Bridge of Spirits and returning them to their rightful houses - rewards which mostly revolve around hats.
Every Spirit Mail Location in Kena: Bridge of Spirits
Kena: Bridge of Spirits has 10 Spirit Mail in hidden areas throughout the game. The location and difficulty obtaining each one will vary, but there are rewards for collecting and delivering these items to the correct destination.
The Village
- The first Spirit Mail in Kena: Bridge of Spirits is in the center of the Village. Start at the Hat Cart, then follow the stairs on the right up to the house with a drum inside. Order the Rot to move the drum into the circle on the ground, then use it to climb up through a hole to find the Spirit Mail.
- After unlocking the Dash ability, head down the Mask Maker path until reaching a bridge. Go around the back of the building across from the bridge to find a doorway with an arrow pointing to it. Inside, players will jump gaps and use a flower to grapple up to the top where Kena: Bridge of Spirits' next Spirit Mail is waiting.
- Using the Dash ability, players can collect the last Spirit Mail in the Village. Go to the dock south of the village, head down the Warrior's Path, and enter through the portals to reach the area with the Storehouse. At the top of the platform, there's a small ledge to climb where players can throw down a Spirit Bomb to raise a platform with a grapple flower. Get across to another path with enemies leading to a portal. Dash through it to find the Spirit Mail and a chest.
Rusu Mountain
- There's a path before the broken bridge leading up Rusu Mountain. Jump to a small platform, then shimmy around the ledge to the right on the side of the cliff. The Spirit Mail is in a small area there.
Forgotten Forest
- Clear the corruption to the right of the Water Shrine warp point, then have the Rot move the large stone behind it. Tell the Rot to place it next to the cracked wall to form a new ledge. Grapple across three flowers, and find the Spirit Mail below the third one.
- Climb up towards the God Tree Shrine until reaching a ledge where Kena can shimmy around ledges. Continue until Kena is above a large branch, then drop down, grapple to the flower, climb the next ledge, and follow the path to find another of the Forgotten Forest's Spirit Mail.
The Storehouse
- Activate the platforms inside the Storehouse with a Spirit Bomb. Climb up and use another bomb on the wall to raise more platforms. Fight the enemies at the top, then break the Deadzone Heart to access the hut, where Kena: Bridge of Spirits' Spirit Mail can be found on the floor.
The Fields
- Go to the Forge and follow the path to the left of the warp shrine that leads underground. Create a Forest Tear by shooting the glowing bulb, then activate the bridge by tossing a Spirit Bomb at the shimmering rocks. Use the Forest Tear on the big stone button to raise the water level, then swim over to the area illuminated by sunlight. Climb up to retrieve the Spirit Mail.
The Village Heart
- In the ground level area of the Village Heart, go to the bridge with the Cursed Chest. The Spirit Mail will be in the house straight ahead after the bridge.
- Go to the entrance of the Village Heart cave, then to the far left to find an area with a breakable wall. Raise the platforms to get across, then throw a bomb at the wall. Use the newly revealed flower to grapple up, then jump to the ledge and follow the path to another breakable wall. The Spirit Mail will be behind the wall.
Tracking down all of the Spirit Mail items in Kena: Bridge of Spirits can be a difficult task, but there are rewards, such as Rot hats, that players can only obtain through completing this task. Players will need to find the Spirit Mail at each location and deliver it in order to finish the quest. There are a variety of hidden collectibles in the beautiful world of Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
