Kelly Osbourne is officially on the mend after injuring her eye, according to a post she uploaded to her Instagram. The 36-year-old could be seen wearing an eye patch in her Stories, where she also explained just how she ended up in the predicament. According to Osbourne, she has no one to blame but herself.

Osbourne has been in the headlines as of late, notably for starring in a Travel Channel two-hour reality special, The Osbournes: Night of Terror. On the show, which was a part of the network’s annual “Ghostober” programming event, Jack, Ozzy, Sharon, and Kelly went on a ghost hunting excursion at the Heritage Square Museum. Viewers were also quick to recognize Osbourne’s new slim figure, which she credits to undergoing gastric sleeve surgery almost two years ago. Hopefully, this was the beginning of even more reality appearances for the daughter of the Prince of Darkness.

The eye injury was revealed by Osbourne on her Instagram Stories (via Extra). She explained the incident did not occur while she was enduring strenuous activity, per se, but rather while she was getting her glam done. She admitted that although her makeup artist told her not to move, she did just that, resulting in the injury. On her way to the doctor’s office, Osbourne documented her journey, stating she hoped she would receive an eye patch to give her an edgy look. Her wish evidently came true, as she later uploaded a video of herself wearing an eye patch, along with a face shield.

Osbourne’s glam team also appeared to have protective gear on, in accordance with pandemic recommendations. Talking about her injury, Osbourne joked, "The only good thing about this is that it does look like I could maybe poison you and kick the s**t out of you, just by looking at you." Luckily, the celebrity refused to let her glam squad take the blame. She claimed she “moved right into it” and ultimately took the fall for her team. However, her makeup artist did apologize.

Considering how serious eye injuries can be, it's good to hear Osbourne received care so quickly. Her fans can breathe a sigh of relief that she's not only on the mend, but also in good spirits about the situation. With her posts, Osbourne set a good example about the importance of seeking medical attention and adhering to coronavirus guidelines. Though Kelly Osbourne appears to be enjoying her eye patch for now, hopefully she won't have to wear it for too long. With any luck, the star will make a full recovery from her unfortunate mishap.
