Kelly and Kenny were a promising twosome, and one of the most stable pairs from their LIB installment. After only two or three pod dates, Kenny got down on one knee, and asked Kelly for her hand in marriage.
However, Love Is Blind couple Kelly and Kenny started showing troubling signs in their relationship six weeks before they could marry. Kenny was romantic and affectionate towards Kelly, who did not reciprocate. She wanted to wait until their wedding night to get physical, as she preferred to get to know Kenny better before their wedding. However, when Kelly said, “I don’t” to Kenny at the altar on November 14, 2018, it was still shocking. It raised questions about what happened between them after the show ended. Kelly claimed her feelings for Kenny weren’t as strong as his for her, but there could be other reasons for the split.
Kelly & Kelly Didn't Want To Get Married On Love Is Blind
It was during the Love Is Blind season 1 reunion that Kelly revealed she rejected Kenny at the last minute because she felt like she wanted to spend more time dating him. In an interview with ET, Kenny confessed that they had, “conversations multiple times. Also with the cameras recording, like we’re adamantly not gonna get married.” According to him, it was never something they were going to do. It was Kenny who wanted to take time apart from Kelly because he wasn’t emotionally available. “I thought that we were going to continue dating because that was communicated between us," Kelly told People.
Why Kenny Dumped Kelly After Love Is Blind
It appears that Kelly and Kenny didn’t talk at all for a few weeks after they finished filming. Love is Blind cast member Kenny wanted to focus on himself, and take time to contemplate. Kelly reached out to Kenny by writing him a letter, but he didn’t respond. Kelly realized she had to step back, even though she felt like she had, “lost someone.” Kelly reached out to Kenny again a few months later, but this time, it was to apologize to him. “Maybe had I not written that letter and maybe had I just let him go and reset, who knows what would've happened?” Kelly asked herself.
Are Love Is Blind’s Kelly & Kenny Still Together?
Kelly and Kenny never got back together. She dated a friend who attended her Love Is Blind wedding, but she's seemingly single now. Kelly's hosting a podcast and YouTube channel, "Chase Life with Kelly,” has 390K Instagram followers, and will soon become an author. Kelly's Love is Blind ex Kenny married Alexandra on April 30, 2022, and the two frequently post on social media. On Instagram, he's proud of being a spouse and dog owner. He's got more than 460k followers, and still mentions the fact that he was part of Love Is Blind season 1.
