Keeping Up With the Kardashians is back again, and started the season out with an all-out brawl and epic fight between Kourtney and Kim Kardashian. They decided to set their differences aside to go on a work trip to Armenia, mainly to spread the message and gain acknowledgment of the Armenian Genocide, which was finally recognized by the United States in 2019.

Unfortunately, Kourtney wasn't pleased with the over-bearing awareness of their arrival, failing to recognize Kim's goal.  "It's not a natural thing to have, you know, people with cameras in your face when you're jetlagged and trying to get in the car... I just think this is really starting to wear on me and my overall unhappiness," Kourtney complains to Kim in a car ride in Armenia, giving a new perspective to her side of things. Today, we examine five reasons KUWTK fans are Team Kourtney, and five reasons they're Team Kim-Khloe.

TEAM KOURTNEY: KOURTNEY NEVER REALLY HAD A CHOICE IN BECOMING A CELEBRITY

During their sister's trip to Armenia, Kourtney explicitly mentions, "I don't like being a celebrity," much to Kim's disgruntlement. Kim advises Kourtney to take a break if that's really how she feels, and while she can pull back significantly, she can't exactly just "un-celebrity" herself. On top of that, it wasn't Kourtney's decision for her family to become so ultra-famous, and she's never been super gung-ho about their superstar status.

Kim's famous sex tape and spike of popularity on KUWTK helped dissolve the perception that "reality stars could never be A-list celebrities." But every rose has its thorn-- there's bound to be members of Kim's family who don't appreciate the limelight, like Rob and Kourtney.

TEAM KIM-KHLOE: KIM & KHLOE HAVE HEAPS OF RESENTMENT TOWARDS KOURTNEY FOR THEIR WORKLOAD DISPARITIES

Kim has always felt a level of resentment towards Kourtney, who has expressed the least amount of interest in doing her own business ventures, turning down opportunities to be included, like the time she refused to have an app made after her, despite every other sister being on board.

After Khloe scored her revenge body and created her clothing line Good American, it was clear to the fanbase that Koko's favorite sister shifted from Kourtney to Kim-- but what was the culprit? Breeding resentment and hostility towards the sister who pulls in the least amount of work, and in turn, cash flow.

TEAM KOURTNEY: KOURTNEY'S RIGHT TO FEEL PICKED ON SINCE KHLOE AND KIM ALWAYS APPROACH HER WITH HOSTILITY AND FRUSTRATION

Kourtney admitted that her sour attitude is a reflection of how she feels she's being treated by her sisters, which should speak volumes to them. Kourtney has also flat out declared she functions and communicates differently from them, and nothing seems to change.

"You don't have to speak the way that they speak, and they don't have to speak the way that you speak, but if you guys bring more of the loving side..." Malika Haqq, a long-time friend of the family, advised Kourtney about her sisters.

TEAM KIM-KHLOE: BOTH KIM AND KHLOE GET TIRED OF FEELING LIKE THEY'RE ALWAYS BEING THE BIGGER PERSON

One of the main reasons Kim and Khloe give Kourtney an exasperated tone is due to their perception that Kourtney refuses to apologize or take accountability for her actions/behavior.

Both sisters feel as though they're constantly being the bigger person, and wonder why they're willing to drop their pride to accommodate Kourtney, but she seemingly can't be bothered to return the favor. These three sisters clearly need a crash course in open and empathetic communication!

TEAM KOURTNEY: KOURTNEY MAKES A FAIR ARGUMENT THAT IT SHOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM IF SHE WISHES TO BE A STAY-AT-HOME MOM

Although Koko and Kiki have a right to feel upset with Kourtney's lack of involvement, Kourtney does have a point when she asks why it would be an issue if she wanted to be a stay-at-home mom, and why their differing levels of commitment have to be perceived as a negative issue.

Kourtney feels like she shouldn't have to overwork herself just to appease her sisters, especially since she never expressed passion or deep interest in their endeavors. Not to mention, Kourtney alone as a net worth of $35 million, so retiring tomorrow would be no sweat off her back.

TEAM KIM-KHLOE: KOURTNEY COMES OFF INCREDIBLY UNGRATEFUL

Kim made it very clear to Kourtney that their trip to Armenia was a "work trip," so it was that much more irritating to Kim when Kourtney spent the entire time complaining. "I wasn't really planning on this lack of privacy," Kourtney gripes, rubbing activist Kimmy the wrong way since her intention behind the trip was to draw attention towards recognizing the Armenian Genocide!

Kourtney did admit to being overly-grumpy and jet-lagged, but her after apology doesn't excuse her ungrateful behavior towards adoring Armenian fans. "I don't know why I'm so miserable here. Like, that memorial was SO unenjoyable with all of those people standing around." Yikes!

TEAM KOURTNEY: KOURTNEY ADMITTED SHE WAS HAVING A MENTAL BREAKDOWN

Right before the chaotic hands-on fight featured in the premiere episode, Kourt straight up tells her sisters she's having a mental breakdown, so it's understandable why she feels like they're not taking her feelings seriously since they didn't even acknowledge her plea.

When Kim fills in Khloe and Scott about her conversation with Kourt, a worried Scott adds: "If she is on the verge of a mental breakdown, I think you should understand that she could possibly break down. So, I don't want anyone to lead her to that, either." At least someone is looking out for Kourt's wellbeing!

TEAM KIM-KHLOE: KOURTNEY KEEPS EXCUSING HER VILE ATTITUDE BY BLAMING IT ON FILMING

Kourtney has placed all of the blame behind her nasty attitude on her unhappiness, claiming it stems completely from having to film for the show. It seems like every scene she films, Kourt takes the opportunity to complain about filming, but she ultimately had the chance to step back from filming last season when this originally came to fruition.

The fanbase has recognized Kourtney's ungrateful attitude for quite some time now, so her filming excuse seems half-assed.

TEAM KOURTNEY: KOURTNEY FEELS LIKE HER FAMILY HAS BETRAYED HER!

It's not unreasonable for Kourtney to feel resentment towards her family for being so hard on her work ethic and wishes to step back. "It just seems like they put the show and work above my happiness and it's caused this distance between us," Kourtney cries to the Haqq twins, genuinely hurt and confused by her sisters' hostility.

All things considered, it's a double whammy to remember how easily Rob Kardashian got out of his work commitments, especially since he was up to no good, and Kourtney just wishes to raise her family in peace.

TEAM KIM-KHLOE: DOES KOURTNEY EVEN KNOW WHAT SHE WANTS FROM HER SISTERS?

All things considered, does Kourtney even have a handle on her true desires? On the popular Kardashian-centric podcast Kar Dishin' It, hosts Marcy Jarreau and Jessica Jean Jardine break down the sister's fight, and Marcy makes a good point when she says: "I think there's a world, for our listeners, where we could totally side with Kourtney, except for Kourtney can't figure out what the f--k her narrative is!"

Marcy makes an assumption about Kourtney hiding behind Scott's wrongdoings. "The pressure was completely off Kourtney. All Kourtney had to do was react to this bad boy," she theorizes, recognizing the absence of Kourtney's singularity. Part of Kourtney's misery stems from her indiscriminate personality and storylines.
