Keeping Up with The Kardashians will end its 14-year run in 2021. The reality sensation has swept the nation since its debut in 2007 and catapulted the family into mega-stardom with its outlandish familial relationships and raw jaw-dropping moments. KUWTK has become one of the longest reality television series in the country, and it has made international stars out of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie while changing the game when it comes to Reality Television as a whole.

Fans have watched the iconic stars as they started off as lesser-known Calabasas residents and rose into multi-billionaire sensations after 20 seasons. Since the premiere on the E! network, there have been twelve spin-off shows featuring the powerhouse family, and each of the members has seen unprecedented success outside of the show as well, including Kylie Jenner’s billionaire cosmetics line and Kim Kardashian’s sweeping fame and marriage to rapper-turned-politician Kayne West. The show has seen its fair share of controversy, ranging from cheating scandals to appropriation accusations, but fans kept coming back season after season for more of the Kardashians' addictive and unparalleled personalities. Also, there had been a fair amount of speculation that the oldest of sisters, Kourtney Kardashian, was going to quit the show before their unexpected announcement.

This announcement comes on the heels of the next season, which is set to air on September 17. The final season of KUWTK will come soon after in 2021, giving fans a chance to say goodbye to the show-stopping family as they begin their journey off-camera for the first time in almost 15 years. Although it may be ending, the powerhouse family will surely keep things interesting through their Instagrams and other channels. We’ll just have to wait and see what’s next!
