Sofia Richie broke up with Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Scott Disick in mid-August. Now, sources reveal that the reason for their break was that their relationship "was getting to be very serious." Moreover, Sofia didn't want to play a stepmother's role at the young age of 22.
After breaking up with the 41-year-old Kourtney Kardashian, many Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans thought Scott would not fall in love with anyone else. However, he did find someone special and confirmed dating rumors with the model Sofia on September 24, 2017. The couple was said to be inseparable as they kept on sharing intimate Instagram stories with their fans. They didn't shy away from sharing kisses in front of friends or paparazzi. By May 2018, Sofia was spending time with Scott and Kourtney's kids. A source confirmed, "It helps that Kourtney now trusts Sofia. The kids are allowed to spend time with her. Sofia likes having them and helps Scott. So far, the kids are giving Kourtney good reports about Sofia." However, it seems like the 22-year-old fashion designer wasn't ready for the great responsibility of being a stepmother.
While talking to Life & Style, an insider revealed that Sofia thought her relationship with Scott was getting "to be very serious [with] a lot of responsibility." The couple has a history of breaking up and then making up quickly. So, is there any chance that they would get back? The source said, "Getting back together would be easy, but Sofia doesn't want to go backward." Despite the age difference of 15 years, the ex-couple was together for three years. Still, age became one of the major reasons for their split.
The source added, "She (Sofia) doesn't want to be a stepmom at 22." Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has three kids - son Mason, 10, daughter Penelope, 7, and son Reign, 5, with his ex-Kourtney. And Sofia is a 22-year-old young model who has a whole modeling career ahead of her. Plus, her parents never seemed to approve her relationship with the 37-year-old Scott. The source confirmed, "She's following her family's advice and just taking each day as they come. She wants to get seriously into acting and needs to focus."
On the other hand, it looks like the daddy of three is also moving on his kids' mommy. Scott and Kourtney were spotted hanging out with each other a couple of times, and it didn't look like they were just co-parenting. The trailer of Keeping Up With The Kardashians also suggests this alleged couple is having baby number 4 together!
