Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian's best friend, Malika Haqq, is stressed about her baby shower planning. While crying over the call, she tells Khloe that she's "five seconds from not wanting a f**king shower anyways." What could be the reason for her stress?
Keeping Up With the Kardashians season 19 premieres and features a distressing situation between Malika, her twin sister Khadijah Haqq and best friend Khloe. The trio talks about the baby shower party, and Khadijah asks her sister, "Is there anything you absolutely do not want at your baby shower?" Malika, who is overwhelmed with the planning, replies, "A bunch of people." The Good American founder probes, "I still need to get like a gauge of how many people." The expectant mother says, "I'm hoping to be able to cap it at like 50 or 55." Khloe is confused; she tells her friend, "Someone who says they don't want to be around a lot of people, I'm just saying, I think 55 is a lot of people." The reality star explains that her ex-boyfriend, O.T. Genasis' mother would bring some guests with her and "she's got like six sisters." Malika sounds upset that her baby shower isn't happening the way she wants. She says, "I mean, I'm five seconds from not wanting a f**king shower anyways." She adds, "Planning and who can come and who can't come... that's really f**king annoying to me. It's not what Malika wants it to be, it's becoming what everyone else wants it to be." And then she hangs up.
Later on, Khloe calls her back and asks if she was crying. Malika breaks down into tears and says, "I'm just really stressed out. I'm not in the best situation and I'm trying to do the best that I can." During a confessional, the 36-year-old E! star says, "I know that Malika bursting into tears has nothing to do with Khadijah or myself. We can imagine that it has something to do with O.T. Well, the mommy of one was probably right. The 37-year-old Malika and her rapper boyfriend started dating in late 2017. But in June 2019, she announced on her Instagram that she's "single." After a few months, she confirmed she was pregnant but refused to share who her baby's father was. She was alone and single throughout her pregnancy. So, it seems like the lack of comfort and affection from her unborn child's father caused her to stress about the baby shower.
Star of Keeping Up With the Kardashians Malika opened up, "I never envisioned that I would have a child and be single." She admitted, "I always thought that my baby would be made in love and maybe eventually I'd be married or at least living together. So doing all of this nursery shopping and all this stuff is great to do with Khadijah and Khloe, but ultimately…. that's not the way I wanted this to happen." She must have felt a void because her ex wasn't around much during their son's birth. Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans wish things were different for her.
