Has Kendall Jenner from Keeping Up With the Kardashians had work done on her nose and face? The beautiful supermodel is one of the highest-paid women in her industry, but her appearance has changed in recent years.
When KUWTK debuted in 2007, Kendall was a cute Calabasas tween with stringy brown locks, a heavy brow, and a bulbous nose. She's now an elegant brunette with smoldering eyes, perfectly arched eyebrows, full lips, and a button nose. To really understand her facial changes, one has to examine many of her childhood photographs. Over the years, Kendall expressed more and more of an interest in pursuing modeling as a full-time job. With that professional path comes the importance of learning one's angles. Kendall's poses went from tilting her head downward, which accentuated the heaviness of her brow line and the roundness of her nose, to moving her face into the light. By doing so, her unique facial symmetry is now showcased more favorably and her features have a softer presentation.
According to Cosmedocs, Kendall has had a slew of procedures done. While none of the medical professionals are directly associated with her, there is consensus that Kendall has done the following:
"Possibly the most obvious is the change in lip volume, although I’d say the biggest impact here was the eyebrow lift. Although this can be done surgically, it’s most commonly done with toxin. What’s not so obvious from these pics is that she used to have a chin dimple which is much harder to see in recent photos, suggesting she’s had filler in her chin. Overall, I think she looks great, although would take it easy on the lips. Anything we’ve missed??"
However, when looking at the accompanying photograph on the Cosmedocs Instagram page (see below), it's clear that Kendall's makeup is a huge culprit for why her face looks so different. The pale foundation sported in her before pic, coupled with harsh concealer gives her eyes a beady effect. The absence of her smile, as well as the tilt of her head camouflage her cheekbones in the before image. As for lip fillers, there are a number of "bee-stung" glosses and lipsticks that could be behind the plumpness she's exhibited in the "after" shot.
A lot can be done with cosmetics. Lucky for the Kardashian-Jenners, they have access to some of the best makeup artists in the business. While the Internet has been abuzz with speculation of Kendall's alleged plastic surgeries, her age has rarely been taken into account. Many people's faces change from adolescence to adulthood. In most of Kendall's "before" photos, she's still a kid. Any decent plastic surgeon would hesitate to perform a procedure on someone before they turn 18. For Kendall, that was just six years ago. However, a lot of these accusations have been around for much longer than that.
Kendall Jenner started modeling while she was still a teenager, so the changes in her appearance are likely to be attributed to regular aging. At 24-years-old, her bone structure is sharpening, and her nasal cartilage is likely to be less pliable than it was when she was a child, lending to the variation of her nose's appearance. While some of the other women in the Kardashian-Jenner clan have clearly had visible work done (ahem, Kylie), Kendall's face lacks the obviousness of fillers, augmentation, or rhinoplasty. Kendall is the one member of the family who looks the most like her younger self. So question that beautiful mug all you want; that's just a face getting prettier with age.
