From the beginning, Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Rob Kardashian and rapper Blac Chyna have endured a tumultuous relationship that has resulted in Rob being kicked out of their home, break ups and make-ups, assault allegations, custody battles, and police investigations. Most of these events have played out in the public eye either on their E! television series Rob & Chyna, in the news, or on social media. The couple continue to bad mouth one another and make legal allegations against each other. The entirety of their battle is centered around their now-3-year-old daughter Dream Kardashian.

While their relationship appeared on rocky grounds on their reality show, things seemed to tense up toward the series’ end and nearly exploded after. During the show, Rob explained every time he and Blac Chyna would argue, she would kick him out of the house. In 2017, the couple officially split after text messages leaked that Chyna was only in the relationship for fame. A few months later, Rob shared explicit images of his ex, prompting her to file a restraining order against him and sued him for releasing revenge porn and cyberbullying. In September of that same year, Rob and Kylie Jenner filed a suit against Chyna for more than $100,000 in property damage and assault. The legal battles continued with Chyna suing the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan for messing with her livelihood, later dropping the action to include only Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner.

In April 2018, Chyna was caught assaulting someone at Six Flags Magic Mountain with a stroller, causing Rob to file for custody of Dream and inadvertently begin a bitter custody battle that ultimately led to his investigation. Later that year, the former KUWTK star filed to pay less child support, claiming Chyna was now worth more than he was and he had experienced a decrease in income. Two year later, Rob filed for emergency full custody of his daughter, claiming Chyna used alcohol and drugs around her. This request was denied, but the custody battle ensued.

In March, Chyna contacted police and the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services after Dream suffered first-degree burns while in Rob’s care. She claimed the soon-to-be-4-year-old suffered burns on her leg at the end of February and a similar injury several weeks later. Rob said these burns occurred under the care of her nanny. Although Chyna didn’t believe him, the nanny texted her and explained the incident occurred due to a light bulb. The nanny will no longer be employed by Rob. Chyna has also raised concerns over Kylie taking Dream on a ride in the helicopter that killed Kobe Bryant.

Chyna and Rob have joint legal and physical custody of their daughter but seem to be filing lawsuit after lawsuit against one another in attempts to gain primary custody. Hopefully, the two can put their differences aside for Dream so she can spend time with both of her parents.
