Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered in 2007 with only eight episodes in season 1. But over the course of 14+ years, the Kardashians' fame has skyrocketed. E! made it known that after season 20, the Kardashian-Jenner clan would hand in their mic packs and be done with the series. However, they wouldn't be gone for long. Hulu quickly swept in and gave them a new show (The Kardashians) that would detail a different side of the family that hasn't been shown through E!

Fans have seen everything that could possibly go right and wrong in this family over 20 seasons. Weddings have been documented, births have been filmed, careers have taken off, and so on. However, not every episode is comparable to the next. On IMDB, fans have voted for their favorite episodes out of 10 stars, and it's proven what fans were most interested in...

Updated on October 23rd, 2022, by Lynn Gibbs: After ending in June 2021, Keeping Up With the Kardashians closed their book with fans on the E! Network. With 20 seasons to its name, the series was one of the network’s longest and most successful shows. KUWTK was profitable for both the family and the network, making it a successful partnership but fans have since moved on to the family’s new show on Hulu, The Kardashians. Looking back at KUWTK, the family had some amazing episodes and lackluster ones too — and it’s all shown on IMDb.

'Family Matters' (4.7)

Season 18, Episode 6

Kim and Khloe look serious in a talking head for KUWTK

'Family Matters' included the whole family. With the holidays around the corner, Kim explained that she was over having the annual celebration at her home after taking on the traditional holiday party from her mother.

This created a battle between siblings about future holiday plans and what to do from then on. And as lucky as the Kardashian-Jenners are to have each other in their lives, Scott found it hard to talk about his late parents when he connected with a relative. Having the Kardashian-Jenner women in his life were the only family he had and he needed them more than ever.

'Date My Daughter' (5.0)

Season 18, Episode 3

Khloe and Malika in a talking head confessional for KUWTK

In season 18 of KUWTK, Khloé tried making her new life as normal as possible after the disturbance in her and Tristan's relationship. She wanted to have a good relationship with Tristan and urged him to be close to their daughter even though they weren't together.

At this time, Khloé was still healing and in no mood to date, however, Kris had other plans. With Kris being so happy in her own relationship, she pushed Khloé to put herself out there and date again. As always, it didn't work out in Kris' favor and Khloé set her straight.

'Fights, Friendships, And Fashion Week: Part 2' (5.2)

Season 18, Episode 2

Kim talking to someone off camera at dinner on KUWTK

One of the highest-ranking episodes after 18 seasons was season 18's 'Fight, Friendships, and Fashion Week part 2.' In this episode, Kourtney, Khloé, and Kim put aside their differences to follow through with their trip to Armenia.

Being Armenian, the family took their connection to the small country seriously. With their children in tow, the two sisters planned on baptizing their children in Armenia, which was ultimately what brought them back together. It was in Armenia that Kourtney realized what was making her unhappy and that she needed a better relationship with her sisters. The emotions of this episode were what made it a nice one.

'Three's Company' (5.4)

Season 17, Episode 4

Scott in a hot tub talking to Kourtney on KUWTK

When Kourtney and Scott broke up for good, and he finally got his act together, he began dating Sofia Richie. The connection was a little too close for comfort since Sofia was a friend of the Jenners and much younger than Scott was.

Scott was always young at heart and had some of the more hilarious quotes throughout KUWTK, but his times with Sofia and Kourtney was awkward. Nevertheless, in 'Three's Company,' Scott brought Sofia on a trip to Finland with Kourtney and the kids. Kourtney was relaxed with the whole idea, but Scott was anxious about the three of them traveling as a unit and he ruined the trip for himself because of it.

'Fire Escape' (5.5)

Season 16, Episode 6

Kylie and Jordyn sitting and smiling outside on KUWTK

In the episode 'Fire Escape,' California's wildfires were taking over, forcing people out of their homes. The timing couldn't be worse for the family since they were planning a big birthday party for Rob's daughter Dream at one of their homes.

Nevertheless, they had to evacuate and chaos ensued. During the dangerous fires, Kim was waiting for a call from the President of the United States to see if he would support her prison reform legislation. It was in this episode that viewers saw the projects Kim was working on were far more serious and important than any role she had played on TV.

'Soul(mate) Searching' (5.6)

Season 16, Episode 4

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick doing healing and inner work on KUWTK

In the 16th season, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Scott, and their kids travel to Bali. The adults were looking for a relaxing and transformative time in Bali, so they met with healers and psychics to cleanse themselves before going back to their normal day-to-day lives.

In this particular episode, fans saw Kourtney second-guess a future with Scott. She was told by an ancient healer that she and Scott were soulmates and have been around each other for years. This notion led to a very sweet conversation between the co-parents and how they would always be in each other's lives, but not as lovers.

‘Kendall’s Sweet 16’ (5.7)

Season 6, Episode 16

Kendall smiles at her 16th birthday party on KUWTK

In one of the oldest episodes on this list, season 6’s ‘Kendall’s Sweet 16’ had a high ranking of 5.7. Viewers saw Kendall turn 16 as her mother threw her a wild 16th birthday party with friends, entertainment, and lavish gifts.

Although Kendall wanted a quieter party, she wasn’t surprised that her mom threw her a rager. At this time, Kris was still married to Bruce and he had a hard time accepting that his daughter was 16 and about to drive. It was a fun, monumental episode for the family.

'Aftershocks' (5.7)

Season 16, Episode 12

Khloe sitting on her bed quietly on KUWTK

Season 16 was a real doozy for the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Just as Khloé was starting to trust Tristan again and restart the relationship they had at the beginning, a bombshell hit. It was reported that Tristan and Kylie's best friend, Jordyn Woods, kissed at a house party.

'Aftershocks' showed Khloé getting away from it all for a much-needed girls trip. This was also the episode where Kyle finally spoke out about the cruel situation. She supported her sister but couldn't help feeling bad for her former friend who was being roasted in the media. At this point on the show, however, it was an unpopular opinion to feel sympathy for Tristan or Jordan.

‘Growing Pains’ (5.7)

Season 19, Episode 1

Khloe looks down at her plate on KUWTK

The premiere to season 19 was an exciting one because viewers knew that the series wasn’t going to last much longer.

In one of Khloé's more iconic scenes on KUWTK, she was annoyed that her mom didn’t have any bad photos taken by the paparazzi. Wanting to do something about it, she dressed as Kris and went about town doing embarrassing things in hopes of being photographed. Meanwhile, Kourtney was doing an experiment for Poosh on professional cuddlers and what it was like to be a touchy-feely person.

‘The End Part 1’ (5.7)

Season 20, Episode 11

Kim and Khloe eating at the table on KUWTK

Knowing that it’s the end of an era, the family decided to take a trip to Lake Tahoe for some quality family time as they review the time they had on the show.

The family decided to make a time capsule for their time on the show. From wedding photos to those iconic diamond earrings that Kim lost years prior, this episode brought all the feels (and all the tears).

‘The End Part 2’ (5.7)

Season 20, Episode 12

The Kardashians and Jenners smiling at the finale of their show

In the series finale, the family took a look back at their lives after spending over a decade on E! with cameras. One of the biggest revelations was that Kourtney told everyone she was completely done entertaining the idea of being with Scott again and that her family needed to respect her boundaries.

Kim was a champion for Scott but because she was in the process of separating from Kanye, she was in no place to judge and finally understood her sister. All the while, Khloé was still in an on-again/off-again relationship with Tristan and considered moving to Boston to be with him. The best part of the finale, however, was the family saying goodbye to their show and to those who’ve worked beside them for so long.

‘Paris’ (5.8)

Season 13, Episode 2

Kim crying with Khloe looking on Keeping up with the Kardashians

Fans couldn’t wait for season 13 of KUWTK, because it would detail one of the darkest moments in the Kardashian-Jenners lives. While in Paris for Fashion Week, Kim was robbed at gunpoint while in her hotel room. Cameras were not there for the robbery but followed Kim as she relived the moments with her supportive family.

Watching Kim retell the horrible encounter was one of the saddest moments on KUWTK, and a lot changed for Kim afterward.

‘The Art of the Prank’ (5.8)

Season 15, Episode 2

Scott gifts Kris a painting as Corey looks at it on KUWTK

In season 15, Khloé and Kim were butting heads with Kourtney. Typically, it’s Kourtney and Khloé who are on the same side, but times have changed in the Kardashian household. The two asked Kourtney if she wanted to join a family therapy session with them, but she wasn’t interested. Tensions between the three only got worse.

What made this episode hilarious was Khloé and Scott’s prank on Kris Jenner. Kris had a newfound appreciation for art, so the two created a cheaply made piece of art and acted like it was created by a well-known artist named Vandelay. While probably a scripted moment on KUWTK, fans love when Khloé and Scott teamed up against Kris.

'Chicago Loyalty' (5.8)

Season 16, Episode 1

Kim and Kanye in a talking head on KUWTK

'Chicago Loyalty' showed a completely different side to Kim and Kanye. It was Kanye's first time doing a KUWTK confessional but it was needed for this episode. It's sufficient to say, KUWTK had some big-time celebrity cameos on the show but no one can compete with Kanye.

Not only did Kim and Kanye announce that they were having a baby boy in this episode, but the couple was making plans to visit Chicago. In order to see the house he grew up in, Kanye and Kim had to make amends with their former frienemy, Rhymefest. Wondering what was going to happen between the three of them in Chicago gave fans an incentive to watch the entire episode.

‘Winners Take All’ (5.9)

Season 20, Episode 3

Kim, Kendall, and Khloe dressed in athletic gear for a competition on KUWTK

Season 20’s ‘Winners Take All’ is the highest-ranking episode on KUWTK. As the final season, new and older fans tuned in to see what the family had in store before they were no longer filming.

In this episode, it’s the Jenners vs. the Kardashians when the conversation of who's the more athletic came up. It’s always been said that the Jenner side was more athletic but the Kardashians were more competitive. The families partook in obstacle courses and small levels of athleticism to see once and for all who the most athletic was. Meanwhile, Khloé and Kim tried setting up Kourtney and Scott, but at the end of the day, they’re not meant to be. With this being the highest-ranked episode, season 20 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians was one of the best.
