More details have emerged about Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum Tristan Thompson's months-long romance with Marilee Nichols, which reportedly took place while he was dating star, Khloe Kardashian. While reconciled with Khloe, Tristan engaged in yet another scandalous romance behind Khloe's back. However, this time, Tristan allegedly got his mistress pregnant. With Maralee suing Tristan over the paternity of her newborn son, more facts about their romance have surfaced.
Tristan tried to hide the legal woes he was dealing with while he was broken up with Keeping Up With the Kardashians icon, Khloe. However, during the same month that he parted ways with the Good American co-founder, Tristan was slapped with a paternity lawsuit by Maralee. The Texas personal trainer relocated to Los Angeles in order to be closer to him. Tristan filed his own documents, attempting to downplay his romance with Maralee and have the case transferred to Texas. He says their relationship was solely based on sex and claims he doesn't remember hooking up with her, other than the night and morning after his 30th birthday.
However, after attempting to place a gag order on Maralee, the new mom is speaking out and breaking her silence on the paternity suit. “I met Tristan in 2020 at a party at his home in Encino, California. He told me he was single and co-parenting,” Maralee told Us Weekly. “I would never have gotten involved with Tristan if I thought he was in a relationship.” The fitness model claims she had no clue that Tristan was reconciled with Khloe.
At the time, there was speculation in the press about Khloe taking Tristan back. It was covered in KUWTK season 19. However, Khloe didn't personally confirm their reconciliation until she posted a heartfelt tribute to him on Instagram on his 30th birthday in March, the same night he possibly conceived a child with Maralee. Maralee claims that when she met Tristan, he told her that he was “not having a sexual relationship with anyone else." She also claims that their romance was “not casual sex nor did we have any arrangement."
The Sacramento Kings player claimed that his fling with Maralee was solely based on sex. However, Maralee says that "Tristan and I communicated daily and talked on the phone," she shared. "We would see each other several times a month.” Her version of events is a lot different from what Tristan is saying in his legal filings. He was bold enough to say he only slept with Maralee on the night and morning after his birthday, yet he also admits to hanging out with Maralee a few times before his birthday, in a relationship that was only about meeting up for sex. If they were meeting up solely for intimacy, and they met up more than once, Tristan's claim that he slept with her on only one occasion is questionable. Maralee says she spent time with Tristan on Christmas, New Year's Eve, and on his birthday.
Maralee recalls going to his hotel on his birthday but says she didn't drive a Maserati as Tristan claimed. Maralee told Tristan in person that she was pregnant during a visit to North Carolina. She learned of the pregnancy a few weeks after she went to see him in Boston, after his birthday. "Despite the challenges that I know I would have as a single mother and Tristan’s reaction to my pregnancy, I told Tristan I would be having the baby,” Maralee said. The case remains ongoing, and as more details emerge, Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans wonder how Khloe is handling it.
