Khloe Kardashian explained Rob Kardashian's absence during the finale season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Fans had gotten used to seeing him make a few guest appearances on the show after a years-long hiatus. He's rarely seen out and about in public. But viewers assumed he would make more cameos on the show to celebrate their 20-season run.

During the early years of KUWTK, Rob was a regular. Fans watched him living life to the fullest during his late teens and early 20s. But after a series of breakups and changes to his lifestyle and physical appearance, Rob began to live a life of seclusion. It seemed almost impossible for a member of the KarJenner family to live a life outside of the public eye. However, Rob maintained his privacy for a couple of years until he began to resurface during his year-long tumultuous relationship with Blac Chyna. After their messy breakup filled the press, the Arthur George founder returned to a life of privacy and seclusion.

Despite his frequent absence, show fans had hopes of seeing him make a few surprise pop-ups in the final season. During part two of the reunion, Khloe explained why her brother prefers a life of privacy after his last rocky relationship. "I think he just needed a break," Khloe told host Andy Cohen, as noted by E! News. She touched on how Rob's struggles weren't just over his weight loss journey but were also caused by his ex-girlfriends. "I think also a lot of his personal relationships really—it's not so much about physical appearance, it's a lot of how he felt internally about some of the women in his life and how they treated him or how he felt they might of used him to get to certain areas or levels," Khloe explained.

With Rob being "such a lover and has the most incredible heart and personality," the Good American founder says the hurt from his last messy split "I think that really affected him," she added.  She continued to speak highly of her brother noting how well he has been since healing from his heartbreak. "I know Rob is feeling really good about himself right now and he's working really hard on himself," Khloe continued. Andy didn't beat around the bush when asking about the status of Rob's co-parenting relationship with Blac Chyna amid her lawsuit against the entire family.

Chyna launched a lawsuit shortly after their breakup and has been arguing that their show Rob & Chyna was only canceled because of their split. "I'm sure it is, but we could only imagine how hard that is," Khloe said when asked how difficult it must be for Rob and Chyna to co-parent their daughter Dream Kardashian. "And I know he feels really guilty about that, so none of us ever make him feel bad about it," Khloe added. She also shared the respect the family has for Chyna as Dream's mother. When asked if Rob has started dating again, Khloe said "yes." This comes as news to fans who haven't seen Rob in a relationship since his 2017 breakup with Blac Chyna. Now that the show is done, it looks like we might get to see Rob with a new girlfriend sometime in the near future.
