Kim Kardashian is a Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum who invited Pete Davidson to her family Christmas party, even though it seemed like he would inevitably run into Kanye West. Kim and Pete have been taking things slowly, but Pete's invite to the event, which is an annual family tradition, is a significant development. Kim is considered a hopeless romantic by many because she's always quick to jump into relationships.

It seems like Kim and Pete's kiss as Jasmine and Aladdin on Saturday Night Live was something that sparked a special bond. In fact, Pete has reportedly won over Kim's entire family. A certain momager seems especially smitten, as Kris Jenner wore matching pajamas with Kim and Pete at a previous family function. Despite Kim's romantic mindset, she is known for being a notorious workaholic. Regardless of her sultry public image, it takes a lot for Kim to actually loosen up. While her marriage to Kris Humphries didn't last, Chris's childish antics were a positive antidote to Kim's calm and solemn personality. Kanye lives with bipolar depression and his wild antics certainly weren't what Kim needed. Now that Kim is legally single (but very much taken by Pete), some fans think it's high time that her ex-husband and current man touch base.

For decades, the legendary Kardashian-Jenner Christmas party has been a cornerstone of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Pete and Kanye were anticipated to have their first awkward meeting at the ritzy event. Back in the day, Kris was unsure about whether or not she should invite Caitlyn Jenner to the bash after her transition. However, in recent years, the exes have put their differences aside so they can co-parent as friends. The Kardashian-Jenner Christmas party is always evolving, but frequently brings opposing parties together. While Pete was reportedly nervous about engaging with Kanye at the party, there was hope, because fans felt that they might actually get along.

Then again, Kanye recently ranted about wanting to win Kim back, a likelihood that seems increasingly doubtful amid Kim's filing to be legally single. With all of the Kar-Jenners in Pete's corner, there's no reason for him to be nervous. If Kanye truly loves Kim and wants the best for her, he will celebrate her efforts to explore a happy, healthy relationship. Kanye should also celebrate the fact that Kim actively wants him to be a big part of her kids' lives, and an integral facet of her entire family. Kim seems totally focused on Pete, but never loses sight of her need for independence, regardless of any man.

It looks like Kanye and Peter didn't cross paths at the party, although both were invited. However, fans will hopefully get a glimpse of Kanye and Pete on the Hulu show in 2022. If Kanye can accept Pete, he might even get as much out of a relationship with him as Kim does. The comedian and KUWTK love interest could use his signature humor to get Kanye and all of the family back in a silly and lighthearted groove. The final years of Keeping Up With the Kardashians were clearly stressful, and Pete could be the one who makes everything fun again.
