Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner attempted to unite her family during a chic cowgirl-themed bonding trip on a recent sneak peek of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In the clip, the gang met up at the Jackson Hole resort in Wyoming.

It's been a rough year for the Kardashian family. Earlier this year, Khloé's boyfriend and the father of her daughter, True, Tristan Thompson, cheated on her with their close family friend, Jordyn Woods. This had a huge effect on the entire family, since Woods was Kylie's longtime BFF. Woods ended up moving out of Kylie's house, where she'd been living, and Thompson and Khloé broke up. While much of this latest season's turmoil centered on the cheating scandal, there were also some blowout fights between Khloé and Kourtney, and the other sisters on the show. In an attempt to bring them closer together (and for a #sponcon opportunity), Kris took all the women on a cowgirl-themed vacation to bond.

In a new sneak peek of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the Kardashian sisters, including Khloé, Kourtney, Kim, and Kendall (Kylie was absent from the trip), met up at the luxury Jackson Hole resort in Wyoming dressed in their best western wear. Kris then explained that she brought them all to the scenic location to get some "family bonding time" and press a "reset button" for a "fresh start." She added that things felt a little "off" between them and that everyone in the group had a "small-to-medium-sized issue" with someone else in the family. In order to address this, she wanted to do some team building activities with them in Wyoming. Check out the clip below:

Kris said she wanted to improve the "morale" among the family members through exercises that forced them to work together to try and rebuild their bond. These exercises included a family cattle drive and taking Kourtney back to her "roots," Kris said, because she appeared on the reality show Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive in 2005, where celebrities' children worked on a Colorado ranch. The momager said she hoped that through this cowgirl-themed vacation they could all work on the things that are bothering them "internally" - by getting their hands dirty in the great outdoors.

Fans will have to wait and see when the next season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians airs if this cattle drive is what brings the family closer. E! has yet to announce a premiere date for the next season, but with clips like these, it's safe to say the series isn't finished just yet.
