A new month has led to another random Kardashian-Jenner vacation that is under fire by fans. KUWTK viewers are tired of seeing the famous family traveling during the pandemic. This time around, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian was targeted after posting up a series of sultry vacation pics.
Kourtney and her family spent a good majority of 2020 responding to the backlash they received for their elaborate getaways, which took place amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. While millions of people remain stuck in quarantine for safety purposes, the reality star family is making its fans jealous with frequent posts that show off lavish escapes. The family members traveled together for Kylie's birthday last August and went on a remote island getaway via jumbo private jet for Kim's 40th. Over the holiday, members of the family spent some time in Lake Tahoe before enjoying the snowy slopes of Aspen during New Year's Eve weekend. All the while, many people who follow the superstar siblings called them out for boasting about their luxury getaways on social media.
On Tuesday, February 2, Kourtney was under fire after she added a beach pic, which featured her sporting an orange bikini. "Orange you glad I’m still posting trip pics? 🧡," she captioned the photo. However, instead of praising the Poosh founder for her figure and style, many fans reminded her that there is a pandemic. "We’re in a pandemic so no," replied one follower. It didn't take too long for a Reddit thread to emerge that blasted the reality star even more. "No Kourt, we’re not. There’s a pandemic," the thread was titled. Other Reddit users hopped in the comments with claims that Kourtney is craving attention. "Kourtney loves attention like the rest of them," said one user. "She’s so thirsty at times," that person added. Another fan went so far as to accuse the mother of three of trolling. "Ew. What a trolling thing to say. She knows how people feel about this. Someone else referenced how unbothered the sisters appear to be by the criticism they've gotten used to receiving for frequently vacationing. "Goes with Khloe's caption on her last pic (her tanning on vacation) "I have been looking everywhere and literally I can't find ONE f*ck to give! I AM EXHAUSTED!," the user acknowledged. Kris Jenner has tried to defend her daughters from the backlash. She previously spoke up for Kendall after she was blasted for hosting a packed birthday party last October. The pandemic ultimately led the family to cancel its annual Christmas party.
However, it's clear the Kar-Jenners make up for missing the social scene by packing their bags and enjoying vacations. At this point, Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars, including Kourtney (who loves to flaunt her toned body during holidays), appear numb to the shady responses from fans and have looked past reading the room.
