After sharing a big chunk of her life on her family's hit reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian says she doesn't want to film the show anymore. The oldest Kardashian child and mother of three was seen facing a crossroads on the latest episode that left many wondering if Kourtney is ready to throw in the towel on her reality TV career.

Recently, fans of the hit E! series were questioning why the cameras primarily followed Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian's personal life stories. Khloe recently revealed that the three eldest sisters of the family have always had equal contracts that permit them to share elements of their lives to drive main storylines. However, Kourtney started refusing to film certain elements of her personal life, such as dating, her parenting moments, and co-parenting relationship with Scott Disick. This left Kourtney losing air time that was filled in by her two younger sisters, Kim and Khloe. Due to Kourtney’s lack of air time, this left Kim and Khloé to film more hours; the youngest of Kris Jenner's six children, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner have all opted to live their private lives without all the TV cameras.

Things with Kourtney came to a head on the season 17 finale Keeping Up with the Kardashians when momager Kris Jenner got the sisters together to reveal how “frustrated and anxious” she was about how much they had been fighting. She suggested her daughters take a trip to Wyoming in order to “press a reset button, and really get everybody back to the family I know and love.” Despite Kylie canceling last minute to spend time with Travis Scott and her daughter Stormi Webster, the other sisters showed up to make their mother happy. But it was during the roping course at the ranch when things went sour. At one point during the ropes course, Kourtney playfully began taunting and booing Khloé with a megaphone, to which Khloé responded by calling her a “bully” and a “b*tch.” Kourtney insisted she had been kidding, but it was too little too late.

“When Khloé calls me a bully, it’s just the exact opposite,” Kourtney said. “I feel like I’ve been bullied for the last two years by Kim and Khloé, if I don’t do something that fits their mold of how they want me to be. I just think no matter what, my sisters, they’re always looking for a reason to give me sh*t.” Meanwhile, back at the lodge, Kourtney was ready to fly back home. “Why would I want to be here with a bunch of people who literally, they just pick on me?” she said. “Why is there this constant need to criticize?” She went on to explain how Khloe's comments made her feel defeated. “After Khloé lashing out at me at the ropes course, I just feel defeated,” she admitted. “I can never win with them. It can never be light and fun anymore, everyone takes everything so personally, including myself. It’s just not enjoyable to hang out together.”

But, it was the youngest sister in attendance who convinced Kourtney to stay after Kendall revealed she too feels “like the odd one out at all times.” During dinner, the family began to talk about the future of the show, which has been airing on E! since 2007. “If we continue to work together and try to be respectful of what everyone else’s needs are around us and listen to what each other are saying, I think that we can definitely carry on filming this show,” Kris said, adding that they should be “united and do it as long as everybody is happy.” But, it was Kourtney who revealed how unhappy she was with filming, to which Kim replied, “If everyone acted like you did, filming-wise, then we’d absolutely have no show."

Kourtney defended her feelings but explaining how her kids are her priority, not the show. “I have three kids that are my priority more than the show,” Kourtney fired back. “Why do I have to say it 25 times? I’m not going to change my mind.” Kourtney continued her rant and admitted that she has reached her breaking point. “What I’m saying is I’m getting to the point where I’m not happy. Everyone has their breaking point,” she continued. “Life is short. It’s not all about filming this show.” It was during her confessional where Kourtney shared her intentions to stop filming. “It’s not okay that I feel like I’m at my breaking point,” she said. “I need a break and I don’t want to film anymore.”

Kim's confessional expressed her hope that her sister finds the peace she's been looking for. “I think that she’s really torn on what she should do,” Kim said of Kourtney. “Does she stay on the show, or does she get off and live a different life that she claims she’s wanted for so long? I hope that Kourtney finds clarity in whatever decision that she chooses to make. I just want her to feel like she’s at peace.” Kourtney revealed how serious she was about leaving the show during a recent appearance on ET, where she shared how she is taking a step back from the beloved reality show to focus on her children, deciding she wants to "more time as a mom," but "not saying goodbye.”
