Kim Kardashian of Keeping Up With the Kardashians fame may be preparing to take the reins of the famous family once momager Kris Jenner slips into retirement. While Kris might be interested in taking a step back, she probably won't give Kim full control of her many business activities for at least a few years.

Among all her sisters, Kim seems to be the most comfortable with fame and a jam-packed schedule. From Kim's Fendi Skims collab to hosting SNL, there's rarely room for additions to her schedule. Nonetheless, due to her natural positioning at the center of her family's businesses, Kim is the logical heir to Kris's managerial throne. However, if Kim does end up passing the California baby bar exam, this might make working as the whole family's public relations liaison a little more challenging. As for Kris, she seems to have a more peaceful agenda in the works for herself, which includes Corey Gamble at her side and an abundance of friends to hang out with. Kris may also plan to spend more time with her mom and kids.

Unlike her siblings, Kim seems to thrive under pressure and she may be the most motivated to take on Kris's daunting managerial role. Kim revealed her legal ambitions and long-term business goals in a tell-all interview. Kim told a Wall Street Journal reporter, "we've talked about it. I would assemble a team of people to take over." However, Kim also said, "I hope it doesn't happen for a really long time because I'm really busy." With so much on her plate, it's hard to imagine Kim running all of her siblings' collective careers, but she could oversee a skilled team that takes care of managerial tasks for her.

If Kim takes on Kris's job, she'll put everything into it. A familiar joke in the pop culture realm is that the devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder. Kim has frequently noted that few of her sisters share her strong work ethic, including Kourtney Kardashian. Khloé Kardashian is mostly focused on motherhood, Kourtney is immersed in wedding planning with Travis Barker, and Kylie Jenner is generally keeping a low profile during pregnancy. Kendall Jenner is flying off to modeling gigs while Rob Kardashian tries to stay out of the spotlight. Kim remains the only sibling in the limelight who seems ready for a more complex juggling act.

If Kris truly does retire, fans might be able to get a glimpse of Kim's momager skills on the family's upcoming Hulu show. While audiences wait for an inside look at all the family members' transitions in life, they'll have to settle for Keeping Up With the Kardashians reruns for now.
