Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian West has reached her first milestone of the year. She has reached 200 million followers on Instagram. Even though Kim is having problems in her relationship with her husband, Kanye West, she took to Instagram and celebrated the milestone with her fans.
Many Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans know that Kim and Kanye are having a major marital crisis right now. Their problems started a while ago when Kanye accused his wife Kim and mother-in-law Kris Jenner of locking him up. Things have gotten much worse in the past few months. After the anticipated loss of Kanye in his presidential run, his relationship with his wife has gone downhill. The rapper has not posted on his Instagram since November, in which he said he voted. However, Kim has continually grown her IG while dealing with her personal issues. From October 2020 to January 2021, she has got over 10 million followers. This growth is the direct indicator of Kim's multitalented persona and lifestyle, and she isn't letting anything stop her.
On January 17, Kim reached the mark of 200 million followers on Instagram. She posted a couple of pictures acknowledging the fact and thanking her fans. She captioned the post as "200 MIL. thank you so much for the love." In the post, the 40-year-old E! star is wearing a copper-gold outfit while making a peace symbol with her hands. She has a camera filter overlayed on top of her pics, probably denoting that this is a memorable moment. Kim doesn't look super thrilled in her pics, but maybe that is because of her personal problems.
Kim's fans, however, were delighted with her achievement. Many Keeping Up With The Kardashians viewers replied with tons of heart emojis to let her know that they are a part of this milestone. At the same time, some are appreciating her looks and a new hairstyle. One fan even wrote "Queen," letting Kim know what she means to her loyal fans.
As good as this achievement is, it's bound to be better with time. For now, the mommy-four is still behind Ariana Grande, Dwayne Johnson, and her sister Kylie Jenner. The youngest Jenner also reached her 200 million milestone fairly recently and has already reached 210 million followers. It will be interesting to see if Kim will overtake the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kylie in a total number of IG followers by the end of this year.
