Amid heightened speculation surrounding the status of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West' marriage, sources for the rap/fashion mogul explained his silence. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians couple is rumored to be in their final days as a married couple. But, Kanye is staying quiet and letting the "Kardashian PR machine" do what it does best.
Fans were shocked when reports surfaced two weeks ago claiming "divorce was imminent" for Kim and Kanye following a rough year on their marriage. Things went left for the couple after Kanye announced his presidential bid last July. He followed up with a rally where he divulged some pretty personal and grim information about the couple's first pregnancy. According to sources, that was the final straw for Kim even though she remained by his side. On the other hand, Kanye appeared M.I.A. in a number of Kardashian-Jenner family events. It's said, the rap/fashion mogul found the family's lifestyle to be "unbearable." Trouble between the superstar couple came to light when Kanye went on a Twitter tirade against his wife and mother-in-law accusing them of putting him in "the sunken place." He also compared Kris Jenner to the North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.
Since the divorce reports hit the press, neither Kim nor Kanye has spoken out to confirm or deny them. The move has left many to believe the rumors and are waiting to see if an official split is announced. On Wednesday, January 20, sources for the Yeezy founder addressed Kanye's silence on all the divorce speculation. "He understands Kim’s side has to spin that she is sick of him," an insider told Page Six. "In reality, he’s been sick of being involved with [the] Kardashians for a long while. Especially her mother, who looms large in all big decisions she makes.” The new reports mimic the rant Kanye spewed out against Kim and Kris last July. At the time, the rapper accused them of feeding reports about his mental health to the press. Now, that multiple source reports continue to appear in the press on a daily basis, those close to Kanye say he “seems to be enjoying the brouhaha surrounding his divorce."
According to the insider, the "Flashing Lights" rapper is well aware of how the Kardashian's give information to the media "He is quite familiar with what the Kardashian public relations machine is capable of," the source added. They added how Kanye "thinks it’s funny that her team is blaming his presidential run on the marriage disintegration.” Considering the new insider claims, it's clear Kim and Kanye are still in an awkward space marriage-wise. Sources also shared that Kim will be opening up about their marital woes on the final season of the show. The news appears to confirm just why Kim has been so silent on all the talk about her marriage since she intends to save it all for the show.
She has been accused in the past of marrying her second husband Kris Humphries for ratings. Now, with her third marriage possibly crumbling, fans aren't too surprised she's rumored to speak about it on her show.
