Kim Kardashian and Kanye West first became friends in the early 2000s. They began to date in 2011 while Kim was still finalizing her divorce from Kris Humphries. In 2014, the couple welcomed their first child, North West. The following year, they tied the knot at a romantic wedding in Italy. They later grew their family with three more kids, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. Despite Kim constantly filming for her family's hit show, Kanye was rarely shown on camera. Earlier this month, Kim hosted her family as well as the show's crew at her home to celebrate the last day of filming for the show.

While the layout looks to be generally the same, the interior design is completely different. The home once had beautiful wood floors. The large kitchen consisted of three long islands and what looked to be grey cabinetry. The ceilings had rustic wooden paneling. In the family room, the TV sat on a beautiful white brick wall. The infamous "creepy" hallway was actually bright and welcoming. With windows, chandeliers, and even some decor, the hallway was almost unrecognizable. Overall, the house seemed way brighter and welcoming with a barn-like vibe to it.
Many fans think that the original design of the house seems more like Kim's style, whereas their renovated home seems more like Kanye's style. They described the original home as "classic" and "pretty" while calling Kim and Kanye's home now more "interesting." It is shocking that Kim and Kanye manage to live in an entirely white home with four children while still having the home appear spotless. The original structure definitely gives off a "homier" feel than the couple's renovation. One user described the original design as "wine country." Many came to Kim and Kanye's defense, calling their home "iconic." One person joked "Why aren't rich people able to afford color?" while another suggested that Kim and Kanye's home should be turned into a museum for fans to visit.
