At his recent listening party for his new album, Kanye West, who has appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians several times, cried about losing his family. For the past year, rumblings of a divorce between him and his estranged wife Kim Kardashian have been circulating in the media. However, Kim seemed to have squashed the rumors last summer when she and their four children visited him at their ranch in Wyoming. The reality star was trying to mend her relationship with the rapper in order to keep their family together.

Kim was clearly unsuccessful in fixing their relationship as months later, divorce rumors began to resurface again, but this time they seemed more legitimate. In February 2021, their representatives confirmed that Kim and Kanye have decided to divorce after seven years of marriage. Even though the couple has moved on from their relationship, they still manage to be cordial with one another. After all, they do share four children together.

The New York Post reported that the rapper was moved to tears Thursday night while performing his song "Love Unconditionally." Kanye cried as his song played, stating he was "losing" his family. Kim and their four kids North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm were all in attendance to support the release of their father's much-anticipated album. The reality star's younger sister, Khloé Kardashian, was also there to support the 44-year-old. Kanye held the listening party at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Thursday for his new album Donda. The event was live-streamed on Apple Music and was scheduled to drop at the stroke of midnight on Friday.

Hours later, the album was nowhere to be found on Apple Music, or any streaming site for that matter. With many hours still left in the day, Donda could drop at any second now. The album features several well-known musicians such as Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, and, surprisingly, Jay-Z. He and Kanye ended their feud after he allegedly recorded his verse for the album’s last song earlier on Thursday. The album also features the song "No Child Left Behind," which was played in an Apple commercial with the up-and-coming track star Sha’Carri Richardson. The commercial made its debut during the NBA Finals on Tuesday night and even announced the release date for Donda.

Even though Kim and Kanye are no longer together, the rapper still holds great affection for the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. The couple has been through so many ups and downs together, which has created a close bond between the two. While a reconciliation seems unlikely, you never know what the future holds for Kimye.
